Saying the Keenos (lamentations) on
Tisha Bi-Av, remembering the murder of our brethren in Europe in the
holocaust, these lamentations were added by contemporary rabbis and
thoughts passed through my mind of how some of these rabbis were
great opposers to the holy ways and followers of Rabbi Nachman of
Breslov, which unquestionably sealed the terrible horrific fate of
the holocaust. Even still this tragedy is extremely painful. These
were precious Jewish souls that brought great warmth and holiness to
the world, even if satan saw to it that they did not merit to have
part in the ultimate holiness of Rabbainu. See also Likutay Moharan

limited in what he can bring down on this person, for after all,
ultimately that person is included in the tzadik, and the affliction
will be his....).
