Hashem Yisburach creates the world new every second, and Rabbainu revealed that a Jew is forbidden to be old, he must constantly renew himself. Rabbainu also revealed that this is the problem of the fraudulent rabbis that they don't renew themselves (elsewhere we explained, that this gives them the ability even to make miracles). This is another reason to stay very far away from all the rabbis out there, breslov or whatever, because as long as someone retains a connection to these charlatans, he will be unable to really renew himself.

The idea of hisbodidus is building one's own personal direct relationship with G-d, to the extent that one can actual see the new world that HY makes every second, but the more one is attached to rabbis or other leaders who do not renew themselves, he will G"F stagnate, to say the least.
