The importance of doing KAPUROAS (atonement) with a chicken before Yom Kippur

The highest aspiration for an animal is to be elevated in the function of people who are serving HY. Thus even though I have had liberal friends, who obviously feel that they have more compassion than G-d Almighty and His holy righteous tzadikim, who feel that animals should be afforded old age homes with all the amenities, according to the holy Torah that would basically seal their fate to remain just animals, whereas if they are given over to Human consumption or sacrificed to HY they can rise to an entire higher paradigm for eternity. Thus it kaparoas are a great opportunity for chickens to escape and rise in the devotion of HY.

סדר ערב יום הכפורים

הנה בערב יום הכיפורים נשלמת נסירת החיצוניות של נוקבא, ובו ננסרים הוד יסוד ומלכות דנוקבא. והנה היסוד נקרא גבר, ובו מתקבצות כל הגבורות ביחד, וכדי למתק אותו לוקחים תרנגול שנקרא גבר, ושוחטין אותו באשמורת, שהוא זמן שליטת החסד, ומוציאים ממנו דמו בסוד גבורה, ובזה נמתק. ואין הכונה ליתנו לעניים, כי תכליתו אינו זה, אלא להוציא ממנו דמו באשמורת, אך מי שרוצה ליתן - תבא עליו ברכה, כי צדקה עשה. והוא דוגמת השעיר המשתלח, אלא שהשעיר להיות הבחינה היותר קרובה אל הקלפיות - דוחין אותו לחוץ, וזה - שהוא קרוב אל הקדושה, מתמתק ונכלל בקדושה.
