Burial of Nachman Shabsai Nanach - post from 7/17/09

A large group of Nanach sang Na Nach Nachmu Nachman Meuman at the burial of our dear friend Nachman Shabsai at Har Haminuchos (there were probably around 150 people there, many others only found out after, I only found out by a clear act of divine providence).

 Someone testified that before the petira Nachman Shabsai recited Shema Yisroel and many other verses of faith, and then his Mother and sister (?) sang Na Nach Nachmu Nachman Meuman passionately, and NS passed on to the better world.

Some of the chaverim made sure to inform him that he had indeed passed on, and others swore him to go straight to Rabbainu.

The Keren Nanach Truck also took part in the funeral procession.

Amongst NS virtues that were spoken of were his great simple complete faith, sincerety, and simplicity. NS would say the Tikun Klali extremely slowly word by word not concerned at all about the time passing, amazing people with his patience. He was always chearing people up and strengthing them and bringing them great happiness. There were poignant stories related.

May his memory be a blessing, may he merit to be in the company of the true Nanach.
