Blossoms of the Spring - Letter 41: The Utter Repulsiveness of Science etc…. and the Antidote

 

Letter 41 

 

BH, 4^th of Kislev [5]721 (Wednesday – November 23^rd, 1960), Tiberias.

 

When a person comes to some test, he should know that when he withstands it, the Holy One, blessed is He, will perform a miracle for him (Sefer Hamidos – Salvation 16).

The cherished of my heart, the distinguished Mr. Z. Shazar, who possesses a sharp eye of depth and breadth to discern and grasp who now is the True King over the Jewish people – Who exterminates all the falsehoods and the impure spirit of the false leaders; and the foreign, filthy, and putrid opinions of the scientists of nature. May God strengthen his [third person] heart to go in the ways of the Tzaddik, and the words of His Torah should not depart from his mouth for eternity.

 

However much more the number of souls coming to the Tzaddik to receive the light of His Torah increases, the more the “breath of wickedness” which is done upon the earth decreases and gets nullified, that is, the difficulties [put forth by] the heretics (See Likutei Eitzos – Tzaddik 23).

In these recent generations, in which there is an overpowering and proliferation to the length and to the width of the false beliefs of the false prophets, and the heresies of the wicked factions whom engage in outer wisdoms, and whom are increasing the evil books of vanity and heresy, that are filled with vomit and feces – more than a bathroom, and there is no worse stench and terrible smell in the world. And they are a form of the waters of the flood [of Noah] which greatly confound, and they overpower in order to destroy the world – to abolish the Torah and Mitzvos, and to make them forgotten – as one can see with his own eyes; as in the aspect of, “And the waters swelled exceedingly” (Genesis 7:19) above all the high mountains. That is, one doesn’t see any possibility of getting rescued, and there is no place for which he can grasp onto and stand there, for due to the magnitude of their overpoweringness, almost all hope is gone, God forbid. But “And You are exalted, God” (Psalms 92:9) [God always has the upper hand], and “God’s counsel will forever endure” (Psalms 33:11) – and in the midst of the immense thick darkness of the abyss, we have merited that in our times, yes in our times, it has been revealed such a secret, a novelty – such a sequestered, concealed, and hidden secret –that the upper, holy worlds didn’t know of it. It is the light of the True Tzaddik – Who is the point of the chosen (choice / prized) truth from amongst all the complete and chosen Tzaddikim whom are the singular ones from all the generations; Who goes before us, stands and wages war with them so as to break and nullify the filth of their erroneous and perplexing philosophies, and to blow away the dust – which is the aspect of the heresies – from the heart of every single Jew. Until the light of the point of truth in his [third person] heart will blaze, and it will burn all the evil and falsehood, until he will long and yearn ceaselessly to God, blessed He, and to His Torah, and to His Tzaddikim, with a strong and exceeding desire – which this is the main thing. “Truth will sprout from the ground” (Psalms 85:12), “from the ground” specifically, which that is, when the Jewish people are situated on the ground, then specifically they will ascend, as is written, “And it [the Jewish people] will arise from the ground” (Exodus 1:10), “from the ground” specifically.

 

The compiler and arranger, who prays for him constantly with all the heart, and who wishes his wellbeing and his success in in this [world] and in the next [world].

ב"ה, ד' כסליו תשכ"א טבריא.
כשאדם בא לאיזה נסיון, ידע כשיעמוד בזה הנסיון שהקדוש ברוך הוא יעשה לו נס.
יקרת ליבי מר ז.שזר הדגול ובעל עין חדה עמוקה ורחבה לבחון ולתפוס מי הוא המלך האמת על ישראל עכשיו. המבער כל השקר ורוח הטומאה של מנהיגי השקר. והדעות הזרות והסרוחות והמטונפות של חכמי הטבע ה' יחזק לבבו לילך בדרכי הצדיק ולא ימושו דברי תורתו מפיו לעולם.

כל מה שנתרבים יותר הנפשות הבאים אל הצדיק לקבל אור תורתו נתמעט ונתבטל יותר ההבל הרע אשר נעשה על הארץ. שהם הקשיות של האפיקורסים:
בדורות האחרונים האלה שמתגבר ומתפשט לאורך ולרוחב האמונות כוזביות של נביאי השקר. והכפירות של הכתות רעות העוסקים בחכמות חיצוניות ומרבים ספרים רעים של הבל וכפירה המלאים קיא צואה יותר מבית הכסא ואין סרחון וריח רע גרוע מהם בעולם. והם בחינת מי המבול שמבלבלין מאד ומתגברים להחריב את העולם. לבטל ולהשכיח התורה ומצוות כמו שרואים בחוש. בבחינת והמים גברו מאד למעלה מכל ההרים הגבוהים. היינו שאין רואים שום צד הצלה. ואין מקום לאחוז עצמו ולעמוד שם. כי לגודל התגברותם כמעט אפס תקוה חס ושלום. אבל ואתה מרום לעולם ה'. ועצת ה' לעולם תעמוד ובתוך עוצם חשכת אפילת התהום. זכינו שבימינו בימינו נתגלה סוד חידוש כזה. סוד כמוס ונעלם ונסתר כזה. שעולמות קדושים עליונים לא ידעו מזה. הוא אור הצדיק האמת שהוא נקודת מובחר האמת שבין הצדיקים השלמים המובחרים יחידי הדורות. ההולך לפנינו ועומד ולוחם עמהם לשבר ולבטל זוהמת חכמתם הנבוכות והמוטעות ולנפח העפירירות שהוא בחינת הכפירות מלב כל אחד מישראל, עד שיתלהב אור נקודת האמת שבלבבו וישרוף כל הרע והשקר. עד שיכסוף וישתוקק תמיד להשם יתברך ולתורתו ולצדיקיו ברצון חזק מאד. שזה העיקר, "אמת מארץ תצמח", מארץ דייקא דהיינו כשישראל נתונים עד הארץ. אז דייקא יעלה. כמו שכתוב "ועלה מן הארץ" מן הארץ דייקא.
המלקט והמסדר המתפלל עליו תמיד בכל לב ודורש שלומו והצלחתו בזה ובבא.
