 Letter 67

BH, 26^th of Iyar [5]722 (Wednesday – May 30, 1962), Tel-Aviv.

 

My heart, my precious one, Mr. Z. Shazar – who has merited to taste the blissfulness of the clarified and pure truth, and he has become aroused with the fire that blazes in his heart, and he has fired up his soul and mind to think deep thoughts, solutions, and much stratagems in order to enlarge and promulgate the Name of the True Tzaddik who draws upon us the light of Messiah, and [who] breaks and nullifies with absolute nullification the filth and feculence of the apostasies and false faiths which darken the eyes of the Jewish people, and they conceal and hide the light of the True Tzaddik, and they separate the legs from the head. That is, they make separation between the collective Jewish people whom are the aspect of the feet, and the Tzaddik who is the head – “Head of the Jewish people” [R’osh B’nei Y’isroel = the initials form the acronym Rebbe]. Through which the wisdom of philosophy has overpowered in the world, and the books of heresy and apostasies have increased – which imposes hatred and animosity between the Jewish people and their Father in Heaven. Peace, life, and all the best.

 

Amidst the magnitude of our lowliness in this orphaned generation, in the immense depth of the utmost, utmost descent into apostasies and false beliefs, and we have all become lost like sheep, to the point that we have arrived at the edge and end of Judaism – in the place where the boundary of the Jewish people ends, that there the holiness of the Jewish people finishes, in that from there on the Holiness of the Jewish people doesn’t spread further.

ליבי יקירי, מר ז.שזר, שזכה לטעום נעימת האמת הברור והזך, והתעורר באש הבוער בליבו והלהיב את נשמתו ומחשבתו לחשוב מחשבות עמוקות ועצות ותחבולות רבות, להגדיל ולפרסם את שם הצדיק האמת, הממשיך עלינו אורו של משיח, ומשבר ומבטל בביטול גמור הטינופות וזוהמת המינות ואמונות כזביות, המחשיכים עיני ישראל ומעלימים ומסתירים אור הצדיק האמת, ומפרידים הרגליים מן הראש, היינו, שעושים פרוד בין כלל ישראל, שהם בחינת רגלין, ובין הצדיק, שהוא הראש, ר'אש ב'ני י'שראל, שעל ידי זה נתגבר חכמת הפילוסופיא בעולם ונתרבו ספרי מינות וכפירות, שמטילים שנאה ואיבה בין ישראל לאביהם שבשמיים, שלום וחיים וכל טוב.

בעוצם שיפלותנו בדור היתום הזה, בגודל עומק תכלית תכלית הירידה בכפירות ואמונות כזביות, וכולנו כצאן תעינו, עד שבאנו אצל הקצה והסוף של ישראל, במקום שגבול ישראל כלה, ששם מסיים קדושת ישראל, שמשם ולהלאה אין מתפשט קדושת ישראל.
