 Letter 85 

 

BH. Chai [18^th = life] Adar [5]724 (Monday – March 2, 1964).

 

In honor of the president of Israel, the delight of my heart and eyes, Mr. S. Z. Shazar. May God shine in your heart the light of the Tzaddik’s Daas [realization of knowledge or perspicacity] – that which will be revealed in the future in completeness through King Messiah; and may He open your eyes in His Torah, and He shall guide you in the pathways of His solutions; and you shall merit speedily to give the whole world to drink with the waters of His wisdom, through which the world will become completely rectified.

 

Currently, all our main rectification is solely by way of the Great Tzaddik who can descend to the depth of the fall and descent of each one and elevate him with His wondrous wisdom to the utmost, utmost ascent. And if the whole world would nullify themselves to Him, then everything would have already been completely rectified. But due to our sins, it isn’t enough that they aren’t nullifying themselves to Him, just on the contrary, the haughty individuals, the liars and the brazen faced oppose and speak insults, blasphemies, lies, mockery, and slander on the True Tzaddik and His people, the true kosher [upright] ones of the generation – until the truth has been cast earthward, and through this all the damages in the world are done, and the main prolonging of the exile is from this. And now, all our rectification is that everything will get rectified through our Righteous Messiah who will reveal the light of the Tzaddik in the whole world, and He will nullify the fight and make wondrous peace in the world.

 

Meriting to nullification of the falsehood and revelation of the truth is through this that one nullifies his honor from all and all in the utmost nullification, until he is in the aspect of actual [mammesh] dirt. And then he will merit to draw close to the Tzaddik and to live a good life, truthful and good. Whoever wants to go in the path of truth and has pity on his true life, in truth, he then needs to be strong and courageous, and an extremely mighty warrior to stand like an iron pillar against those who obstruct, and he shouldn’t look whatsoever at all of humanity, and not at his father, and father-in-law, and his wife, and the rest of the obstructers who want to alienate him from the True Tzaddik.

 

The True Tzaddik of highest and exceedingly, exceedingly lofty stature, of the highest level – which there isn’t a level thereafter, can bring Himself down very, very much in order to lift up even the most estranged ones that are placed in the lowliness of the bottommost level, until they descended to the aspect of actual [mammesh] death, God forbid. And this is the main completeness of His towering stature, for it isn’t possible to ascend higher and higher except when one can descend lower and lower in order to elevate all the completely rejected and estranged ones as well, and to attach them as well to God, blessed He and His Torah in completeness. And know, that all the main redemption of our souls individually, and the redemption of the encompassment of the Jewish souls depends solely and exclusively in this – that the light of the True Tzaddik should be revealed and shine in all the land, and to raise the banner of the Tzaddik in the world, until it will become known to all that through the drawing close to the True Tzaddik it shines upon the person all the wondrous and awesome lights that are futured to shine through our Righteous Messiah.

The old and foolish king who is the ‘forefather’ of ‘fathers’ of defilement of the atheisms, apostasies, and false beliefs of the chiefs of falsehood whom chase after honor and superiority, and they wage war and oppose with audacity and brazenness of the forehead to alienate and separate the Jewish people.

 

Now in these generations of ours, in which the Jewish people have reached the utmost descent and concealment within concealment, and they have descended astonishingly to such estranged places from the holiness of the Jewish people, that which the Jewish people have not descended therein ever – and all of this is primarily drawn from the old and foolish king who is the ‘forefather’ of ‘fathers’ of defilement of atheisms, apostasies, and false beliefs of the chiefs of falsehood and the brazen-faced whom chase after honor and superiority, and they wage war with audacity and brazenness of the forehead to alienate and separate the Jewish people from the True Tzaddik who is the main source and root of their lifeforce and salvation for generations of generations for eternity – which this is an extreme sin deserving of punishment, more than all the severe sins that are in the Torah. And through this they have caused all the atheisms and apostasies, and all the tragedies and destructions which have come upon the Jewish people [both] physically and spiritually; and they prevent the redemption (the final one, the complete one). For the main redemption depends only and solely in the revelation of the light of the True Tzaddik, and that all of the Jewish people should draw close to Him – with the drawing close of all the souls of the Jewish people to the True Tzaddik who imbues in us the complete, holy faith in completeness, through which one merits to conceptions of Divinity; who brings [to] conceptions of Divinity even to the completely rejected and estranged ones.

לכבוד נשיא ישראל, חמדת ליבי ועיני, מר ש.ז.שזר, יאר ה' בליבך אור הדעת של הצדיק, שיתגלה לעתיד בשלמות על ידי מלך המשיח. ויפקח עיניך בתורתו ויוליכך בדרכי עצותיו, ותזכה במהרה להשקות כל העולם במימי חכמתו, שעל ידי זה יתתקן העולם לגמרי.

עכשיו כל עיקר תיקוננו הוא רק על ידי הצדיק הגדול, שיכול לירד לעומק הנפילה והירידה של כל אחד ולהעלותו בחכמתו הנפלאה לתכלית תכלית העליה. ואם היה כל העולם מתבטלים אליו, אזי כבר היה הכל מתוקן לגמרי. אבל בעונותינו, לא די שאינם מתבטלים אליו, רק אדרבא, הבעלי גאוה, השקרנים ועזי פנים, חולקים ומדברים חרופים וגידופים ושקרים וליצנות ולשון הרע על הצדיק האמת ואנשיו, כשרי הדור האמיתיים, עד אשר נשלך האמת ארצה, ועל ידי זה נעשה כל הקילקולים שבעולם, ומזה עיקר אריכת הגלות. ועתה כל תקותנו, שיתתקן הכל על ידי משיח צדקנו, שיגלה אור הצדיק בכל העולם, ויבטל המחלוקת ויעשה שלום נפלא בעולם.

לזכות לביטול השקר והתגלות האמת, הוא על ידי שמבטל את כבודו מכל וכל בתכלית הביטול, עד שהוא בבחינת עפר ממש, ואז יזכה להתקרב להצדיק ולחיות חיים טובים, אמיתיים וטובים. כל מי שרוצה לילך בדרך האמת וחס על חייו האמיתיים באמת, אזי הוא צריך להיות חזק ואמיץ וגיבור חיל מאד לעמוד כעמוד ברזל כנגד המונעים, ולא יסתכל כלל על בני העולם, ולא על אביו וחותנו ואישתו ושאר המונעים הרוצים להרחיקו מהצדיק האמת.

הצדיק האמת, הגדול במעלה עליונה וגבוה מאד מאד, בתכלית המעלה שאין מעלה אחריו, יכול להוריד מאד מאד להגביה אפילו הרחוקים ביותר, המונחים בשפל המדרגה התחתונה, עד שירדו לבחינת מיתה ממש, חס ושלום. וזה עיקר שלמות מעלתו הגבוה, כי אי אפשר לעלות למעלה למעלה כי אם כשיכולים לירד למטה למטה, להעלות ולקבץ גם כל הנידחים והרחוקים לגמרי ולקשר גם אותם להשם יתברך ותורתו בשלמות. ודע, כי כל עיקר גאולת נפשנו בפרטיות בפרט, וגאולת כלליות נפשות ישראל תלוי אך ורק בזה, שיתגלה ויזרח אור הצדיק האמת בכל הארץ, ולהרים את דגל הצדיק בעולם, עד שיתודע לכולם, שעל ידי ההתקרבות אל הצדיק האמת מאירים על האדם כל האורות הנפלאות ונוראות שהם אשר עתידים להאיר על ידי משיח צדקנו.

עכשיו בדור היתום הזה, שהגיע ישראל לתכלית הירידה והסתרה שבתוך הסתרה, עד שירדו פלאים למקומות רחוקים כאלה שלא ירדו ישראל לתוכם מעולם, עכשיו בדורותינו אלה שירדנו פלאים לתכלית הירידה וההסתרה שבתוך הסתרה שלא ירדו ישראל לתוכם מעולם. המלך זקן וכסיל, שהוא אבי אבות הטומאה של כפירות ומינות ואמונות כזביות של אלופי השקר הרודפים אחר כבוד והתנשאות ולוחמים וחולקיםבחוצפא ועזות מצח להרחיק ולהפריד את ישראל.

עכשיו בדורותינו אלה שהגיעו ישראל לתכלית הירידה והסתרה שבתוך הסתרה וירדו פלאים למקומות רחוקים כאלה מקדושת ישראל שלא ירדו ישראל לתוכם מעולם וכל זה עיקרו נמשך מהמלך זקן וכסיל, שהוא אבי אבות הטומאה של כפירות ומינות ואמונות כזביות של אלופי השקר ועזי פנים הרודפים אחר כבוד והתנשאות ולוחמים בחוצפא ועזות מצח להרחיק ולהפריד את ישראל מהצדיק האמת, שהוא עיקר מקור ושורש חיותם וישועתם לדורי דורות לנצח, שזה עון פלילי מאד, יותר מכל עברות החמורות שבתורה, ועל ידי זה גרמו כל הכפירות ואפיקורסות וכל הצרות והחורבנות שבא על ישראל בגשמיות ורוחניות, ומעכבים את הגאולה {האחרונה השלימה}, כי עיקר הגאולה תלוי אך ורק בהתגלות אור הצדיק האמת ושיתקרבו אליו כל ישראל בהתקרבות כל נפשות ישראל אל הצדיק האמת שמכניס בנו האמונה השלימההקדושה בשלמות, שעל ידי זה זוכין להשגת אלוקות. שמכניס להשגות אלוקות גם להרחוקים והנדחים לגמרי.
