 Letter 99

Baruch Hashem. 8 Tishrei, [5]726 (Monday – October 4, 1965).

In honor of the president of Israel, the apple of my eye, Mr. S. Z. Shazar – which the spirit of wisdom and intellect has gleamed in his heart to understand the truth which is enduring for eternity in order to return all for the better, and the entire rectification of the world in completeness depends in it. [May you have] a good signing for life, blessing, and peace to no end.

My heart exults in your blessing, and my soul rejoices in your love and your attribute of goodness in that you have exalted [yourself] to benefit me with the amount of two-hundred Israeli Liras. From the depths of my heart, I express to you much thanks and shout-outs of charming grace, charming grace. God should repay [for] your good act, and He should lift your horn higher, and may He sprout your salvation and healing in completeness; and He should add upon you and your household years of sweet, healthy, and fresh life, and you should merit to see the revelation of the truth in the whole world.

Know and believe that at the time of the beginning of your existence in your mother’s womb, it was decreed upon you from the Creator that you should be president over the Jewish people in this orphaned generation so that you should have compassion on the Jewish nation with true compassion; and with the propitiousness of your expansive and straight intellect and your eloquent and glorious tongue you shall make known and teach the nation the awesome truth which God has made appear opposite your eyes through many wondrous causes with His Providence – in a miraculous and wondrous way, for what is now around seven years. 

And open their eyes and heart of the Jewish people so that they will all see and understand the true truth which is sequestered and hidden from the eyes of everyone – which is the main sustenance of the whole creation; and through Him the redemption will sprout for the Jewish people and for the whole entire world so that all will know God.

עלץ ליבי בברכתך ותגל נפשי באהבתך ובמדת טובך שהגדלת להטיב עמדי בהסך מאתיים לירות ישראליות. ממעמקי הלב אביע לך רב תודות ותשואת חן חן. ישלם ה' פעלך הטוב וירומם קרנך למעלה ויצמיח ישועתך ורפואתך בשלימות. ויוסף עליך ועל ביתך שנות חיים מתוקים בריאים ורעננים ותזכו לראות התגלות האמת בכל העולם.

דע והאמין כי בעת תחלת הויתך בבטן אמך נגזר עליך מאת הבורא שתהיה נשיא על ישראל בדור היתום הזה כדי שתרחם על עם ישראל ברחמנות אמתי. ובסגולת שכלך הרחב והישר ולשונך הצח והמפואר תודיע ותלמד העם את האמת הנורא אשר הופיע ה' לנגד עיניך בכמה סיבות נפלאות בהשגחתו בדרך נס ופלא זה כשבע שנים.
ותפקח עיניהם ולבם של ישראל שכולם יראו ויבינו האמת האמיתי הגנוז והצפון מעין כל שהוא עיקר קיום כל הבריאה, ועל ידו תצמח הגאולה לישראל ולכל העולם כולו שכולם ידעו את ה'.
