 Letter 112

Baruch Hashem. The eve of Passover, [5]727 (Monday – April 24, 1967).

In honor of the president of Israel, my eyes and heart, Mr. S. Z. Shazar – who wishes and desires to seek and search, to request, scout, and tunnel in order to reveal the deep waters which heal all sorts of bad and bitter diseases of the heresies and false beliefs, and they [the waters] grow the holy faith, a strong and upright faith, a straight, pure, brilliant, and clear faith until the whole world will recognize and know God, and they will all throw away their silver gods and their lusts, and they will give Him the Crown of Sovereignty. Who can relate the mighty acts of the Lord or His immensely wondrous acts and loving-kindness which we have merited to in this impoverished generation – that which all the primordial generations from the day of the world’s creation did not merit thereto.

Long life, good life, true and eternal life with the revelation of the truth.

My heart will rejoice – you have added upon me your loving-kindness and goodness and I have received once again a donation amounting to the sum of one-hundred Israeli Liras by way of my son-in-law, our dear friend, Mr. Chaim Odesser.

May God repay your doing, and may your wage be full from God who resides in Zion and Jerusalem, in that He should uplift your horn [i.e., prestige, glory, might] and fortune, and you should become wise and succeed in all that you turn to. And the main thing is that you should think stratagems and seek solutions how to find the True Tzaddik which by Him are all the salvations and medicines, and to imbue it in the heart of all the Jewish people – which this is their main salvation for all generations and their hope for eternity. Fortunate are we in that we have merited to ensconce in the shade of His holy wings, and all those who trust in Him will not be incriminated[1].

With a blessing for a kosher and joyous Holiday, your servant and lover in truth with all [my] heart and soul:

ישמח לבבי הוספת עלי חסדך וטובתך וקבלתי עוד פעם תרומה על סך מאה לירות ישראליות ע"י יקירינו מר חיים אודיסר.
ישלם ה" פעלך הטוב ותהי משכורתך שלימה מאת ה" השוכן בציון וירושלם שירים קרנך ומזלך ותשכיל ותצליח בכל אשר תפנה, והעיקר שתזכה לחשוב תחבולות ולבקש עצות למצוא הצדיק האמת שאצלו כל הישועות וכל הרפואות, ולהכניסו בלב כל ישראל שזהו עיקר תשועתם לדור דור, ותקותם לנצח. אשרינו שזכינו לחסות בצל כנפיו הקדוש לא יאשמו כל החוסים בו.
