Letter 119

Baruch Hashem. The night preceding the 21^st day of Kisleiv, [5]730 (Sun. night - Dec. 1, 1969), Tiberias.

In honor of the president of Israel, Mr. S. Z. Shazar – who is wise and understands what the world is lacking and what its rectification is; and therefore, he has girded a belt of strength, and he has fired up and inflamed his heart like a flaming fire to gather together with all the Jewish people to the True Leader, the Gushing Stream of new medicines, amazing and wondrous things, wonders of wonders which have not yet been revealed from the day that God created His world, which are effective for everyone – even for hopeless sick ones such as us today in these generations. And they are the whole essential foundation and root of our lifeforce, existence, and hope for all generations. Fortunate are you in that you have merited to this; blessing, peace, and life [to] no end.

I write this at midnight after the hisbodedus [seclusion – for the purpose of being alone in communion with God], conversation, and the pouring out of my heart before God in the Synagogue of Rabbi Meir Baal Ha’neis – the holy place in which we merited to connect and become attached with love and brotherhood in truth, to [lit. in] the Gushing Stream on the 15^th day of Shevat, [5]717 (Wed. night – Jan 17, 1957). My eyes are flowing tears from amidst happiness when I recall that in this holy place most of the letters were written with self [/soul]-sacrifice, thirteen years ago. I bring up in my mind many wondrous matters that I wrote then, which they are a great benefit for the Collective Jewish people – and a part of them have already been printed in the book, ִEֵbay Hanachal which is producing great effects in the world as is known to all.

I spend most of the night in seclusion [hisbodedus] on the mountains that are above the holy Tomb [of] Rabbi Meir Baal Ha’neis. And know my brother, that you stand opposite my eyes constantly, and I don’t forget you – to pray on your behalf and on behalf of your household, and on behalf of the Collective Jewish people whom are placed in great suffering and need compassion and big salvations speedily.

I, my son-in law Chaim, and your gentle wife – we have seen with our eyes the great salvation [in] that God has performed with you awesome things, and He has given you a new heart and a new life in a miraculous and wondrous way through the power and merit of the Gushing Stream. During the time you were in Hadassah Hospital, and all the professors said to give up, God forbid, and out of immense pain my heart broke inside of me, and I sent then a letter to his honor with my son-in law Chaim, and I mentioned there within my blessing and prayer, the merit of the awesome Rabbeinu, ַNa ַNaְch ַNaְchָma ַNaְchָman MayUman. And after you received my letter, you departed from Haddasah to [go] home without the permission of the doctors and against their opinion – for they said that this is a great danger. And God in His great loving-kindness gave you a healing from the Heavens in your home. So should God add His loving-kindness upon you constantly, and He should give you strength and health, good and long life, and peace.

לכבוד נשיא ישראל מר ש.ז.שזר החכם ומבין מה העולם חסר ומה תיקונו, לכן חגר חגורת גבורה והבעיר והלהיב לבו כאש להבה להתקבץ יחד עם כל ישראל אל המנהיג האמת נחל הנובע רפואות חדשות נוראות ונפלאות פלאי פלאות שעדיין לא נתגלו מיום שברא ה" עולמו, שמועילים לכל אפילו לחולים אבודים כמונו היום בדורות הללו. והם כל עיקר יסוד ושורש חיותינו וקיומינו ותקוותינו לדור דור אשריך שזכית לזה ברכה ושלום וחיים אין קץ.

אני כותב את זה בחצות לילה אחרי ההתבודדות והשיחה ושפיכת לבי לפני ה" בבית הכנסת רבי מאיר בעל הנס המקום הקדוש אשר בו זכינו להתחבר ולהתקשר באהבה ואחוה באמת בהנחל נובע ביום ט"ו שבט תשי"ז. עיני יורדות דמעות מתוך שמחה בזכרי כי במקום קדוש זה נכתבו רוב האגרות במסירת נפש, לפני שלש עשרה שנה. אני מעלה במחשבתי כמה ענינים פלאים שכתבתי אז שהם טובה גדולה לכלל ישראל וחלק מהם כבר נדפס בספר אִבֵי הנחל שעושה פעולות גדולות בעולם כידוע לכל.

אני מבלה רוב הלילה בהתבודדות על ההרים שעל הציון הקדוש רמבע"הנס. ודע אחי שאתה עומד לנגד עיני תמיד ואיני שוכח אותך להתפלל בעדך ובעד ביתך ובעד כלל ישראל הנתונים בצער גדול וצריכים לרחמים וישועות גדולות במהרה.

אני וחתני חיים ורעייתך העדינה ראינו בעינינו הישועה הגדולה אשר עשה ה" עמך נוראות ונתן לך לב חדש וחיים חדשים בדרך נס ופלא בכח וזכות הנחל נובע, בעת שהיית בבי"ח הדסה וכל הפרופסורים אמר נואש ח"ו. ומאד נשבר לבי בקרבי מרוב צער ואז שלחתי מכתב ל"כ עם חתני חיים והזכרתי שם בתוך ברכתי ותפלתי זכות רבינו הנורא נַ נַחְ נַחְמָ נַחְמָן מאומן ואחרי שקבלת את מכתבי יצאת מהדסה הביתה בלי רשות הרופאים ונגד דעתם כי אמרו שזהו סכנה גדולה. וה" בחסדו הגדול נתן לך רפואה מן השמים בביתך. כן יוסיף ה" חסדו עליך תמיד ויתן לך כח ובריאות וחיים טובים וארוכים ושלום.
