In Torah 8 Rabbeinu explains how a person can draw
ruach chaim ("the spirit of life") that would fill all that is missing or lacking in their life. One of the best ways to do this is to have a heartfelt sigh during prayer or hisbodedus.
It is interesting that ruach chaim in Hebrew ("רוח חיים") has the same gematria as the phrase "in the forest" ("ביער"). Maybe this explains why the forest is considered one of the best possible places for hisbodedus.
