 Letter 93

 

BH. The eve of the holy Shabbos, 5^th of Tishrei, [5]725 (Friday – Sep. 11, 1964).

 

In honor of the president of Israel, the apple of my eye, Mr. S. Z. Shazar – who isn’t starving for bread, and he isn’t thirsting for water – just to hear the voice of the True Sage, the singular wonder of all the singular ones from [all] the generations, that who God has sent to the final generations of ours in order to redeem us [with] a complete redemption which there isn’t exile thereafter. The Maker of new things should renew on you and your household a good and sweet year in body and soul.

 

I have received your heartful blessing together with the check amounting to one-hundred Israeli Liras, and I had great satisfaction and happiness. From the depth of my heart, I express to you multitude thanks and blessings. May the Master of Compassion, the Master of Salvations shine upon you the light of the Tzaddik, and you should merit anew to become connected and attached with all [your] strength with the Tzaddik and His true, upright [kosher] people. For His power is extremely great and awesome to eternally save all those whom are ensconced in Him.

 

Fortunate are you, in that through your strong desire and passion you have surmounted with great stubbornness over all the obstacles and iron walls – and you have come this year as well for Rosh Hashana to the Tzaddik who has made known to us that there is nothing greater than this. It is a great present to you from God; accept it with love and joy each and every year, all the days of your life. God, blessed He, should merit us to prepare ourselves already from now on to come to the Tzaddik for the upcoming Rosh Hashana. The bodies are far, but the hearts are extremely close; and God knows the truth – that you are found in the depths of my heart constantly, every day and at all times non-stop in prayer and yearnings for your eternal salvation and success in this [world] and the upcoming [world].

לכבוד נשיא ישראל, מחמד עיני, מר ש.ז.שזר, שאינו רעב ללחם ולא צמא למים, רק לשמוע קול החכם האמת, הפלא היחידי שבכל יחידי הדורות, אשר שלחו ה' לדורותינו האחרונים לגאלנו גאולה שלמה שאין אחריה גלות. עושה חדשות יחדש עליך ועל ביתך שנה טובה ומתוקה בגוף ונפש.

קבלתי את ברכתך הלבבי, בצרוף צ'ק על סך מאה לירות ישראליות, והיה לי נחת ושמחה רבה. מעומק לבי אביע לך רב תודות וברכות. בעל הרחמים, בעל הישועות, יאיר עליך אור הצדיק, ותזכה מחדש להתחבר ולהתקשר בכל עוז עם הצדיק ואנשיו הכשרים האמיתיים, כי כוחו גדול ונורא מאד להושיע לנצח לכל החוסים בו.

אשריך, אשר ברצונך ותשוקתך החזקה התגברת בעקשנות גדול על כל המניעות וחומות ברזל, ובאת גם השנה על ראש השנה אל הצדיק, שהודיע לנו שאין דבר גדול מזה. מתנה גדולה היא לך מאת ה', תקבלנה באהבה ובשמחה בכל שנה ושנה, כל ימי חייך. השם יתברך יזכנו להכין עצמנו כבר מעתה לבוא אל הצדיק על ראש השנה הבא. הגופות רחוקות, אבל הלבבות קרובות מאד. וה' יודע האמת, כי אתה נמצא בעמקי לבבי תמיד, בכל יום ובכל עת בלי הפסק. בתפילה וגעגועים לישועתך והצלחתך הנצחי בזה ובבא.
