GRATITUDE FOR THE HEALING

There is a famous verse in Tehillim (147-3): "He (Hashem) heals the broken-hearted and binds up their wounds".

It's interesting that the first letters of the Hebrew words "הרופא לשבורי לב" ("He heals the broken-hearted") form the word "הלל" - a collection of Psalms expressing our gratitude to Hashem that we say on festive occasions.

So maybe the main gratitude that we should have in mind when saying Hallel is gratitude for our healing.
