No, we did not know, the whole world did not know, this is not brought in any book, from this, from Na Nach, just Rabbainu Hakudosh (-Our holy Leader) himself wrote this, with vowels (-nekudos). In the Petek (-note), yes: Na Nach Nachma Nachman MayUman, that’s it. He himself is this song that will return the whole world to Hashem Yisburach.

Rabbainu Hakadosh revealed this, that his name is a/the song which is single (pashoot), double (cafool), threefold (mishoolush), fourfold (miroovuh), “Na,” is single (pashoot), one letter, “NaCh,” is double (cafool), two letters – NaCh, “NaChMuh,” is threefold, “NaChMuN,” is fourfold, and it goes together with the name of Hashem Yisburach “Y-H-V-H,” this is the four letters of Hashem Yisburach.[1]

Oy… this Petek – a/the Petek which has the inception of the redemption. “Na Nach,” this, we did not know from this, and this secret is not explained (anywhere), and not in the Zohar, and not in the Shas (-Talmud) – just in this Petek… Rabbainu Hakadosh revealed this in the Petek – “Na NaCh NaChMuh…” with vowels (-nekudos).

Because this is wondrous, a huge wonder! It is impossible to comprehend this, how did he insert the Petek in the book (-where Saba found it)? And how did open the book, and it was there where I opened to. This is such a wonder that it is impossible… more than all the wonders! This is not just a wonder that was, the Petek exists, it exists always, it does not cease!

“Na Nach,” the whole world can sing and say and recite “Na Nach.”

Articles 491-2 (Gematria- numerical value of Na Nach Nachma Nachman MayUman & the inclusive)

In the year 5566 (1805) between Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur: Rabbainu o.b.m. exited from the mikva and said that it was revealed to him at this time from the Heavens how ‘anshay shloamainoo’ (-the fellows of our persuasion, i.e. the followers of Rabbi Nachman) should conduct themselves all the days of their life with regard to fasting, how many fasts each and every single one of anshay shloamainoo needs to fast every single year, and how and when they should fast. And after the holidays we went in to him, each and every one privately, and he gave over to each and every one a note [‘petek’] when he should fast….

Once, he gave one person the note, and this person who received the note said to Rabbainu o.b.m., “What we conceived was not like this, because we thought that you would instruct us to fast many days of the year, but now we see that they are just a very few days of the year.”

He replied, “Behold Elisha said to Naaman (Kings 2:5:9, 13), ‘Bathe and be purified,’ and he didn’t want to believe that with this easy matter he would be cured, and he (Naaman) said (Kings 2:5:12 not an exact quote), ‘Behold Amunuh and Parpar and the rivers of Damascus are better (than all the waters of Israel), behold I bathed in them and I was purified?’ Until his servants told him (Kings 2:5:13), ‘Master, a tall order had the prophet told you, behold you would do it, all the more so when/since he told you, bath and be purified.’ And then he listened to his servants, and he bathed in the Jordan seven time, and his skin returned (to be healthy) and he was purified (Kings 2:5:14). Similarly, you conceive that it is necessary to specifically dictate for your healing heavy undertakings, and you don’t believe that with an easy matter which I instruct you to do, you will have a complete healing, a true healing of the soul.[2]”

And this matter is extremely necessary (to know as it is applicable) many times, because sometimes a person holds himself back from doing some matter of holiness because of heaviness, because of the many impediments that obstruct him from doing it, and he doesn’t strengthen (himself) to break them. And sometimes it is the opposite, that he refrains from (doing) a matter of holiness because of it’s utter easiness, that in his eyes this matter is very easy to do, and because of this he doesn’t believe that the life of his soul is contingent on such an easy thing. And in reality it is necessary to be careful with a light mitzva the same as with a weighty/serious one (Ethics of Our Fathers 2:1), “and the ways of life (i.e. the importance of things are hidden) lest one chart his path (accordingly – choosing only the most rewarding issues) (Proverbs 5:6 explained according to the Medrash by Rashi), “and whatever is in your power to do, do with (all) your strength (Ecclesiastes 9:10).” Because the main sedition and hinderance of the bal duvu (-litigator-Satan-evil inclination) are just mental blocks, that he sometimes inoculates in the person’s mind that it is very hard for him to do the matter, and because of the he wants to prevent him (from doing it). And sometimes it is the opposite, that he makes it light for him, and extremely belittles the matter in his eyes, to the extent that it doesn’t occur to the person that the life of his soul is contingent on this, and all of this (the bal duvur does) in order to prevent him (from doing it) Heaven forbid. And sometimes this hinderance is overly greater than an actual obstruction.

However, “He who goes wholesomely (wholeheartedly/sincerely/honestly…) will go securely (/confidently/safely) (Proverbs 10:9),” and doesn’t pay attention to any impediment or confusion in the world whatsoever. “And all that is in your power to do, do with (all) your might (Ecclesiastes 9:10).”

[1] This is really the letter Hay, but it is forbidden to enunciate the Name of G-d even by naming the letters, so the custom is to say “kay” instead of Hay.

In Blossoms of the Spring, letter 6 1958, Saba mentions meeting an A. Steinman, even though it is almost for sure a different fellow, since the letter was written with Divine Inspiration one can draw parallels...

HH there's an amazing hilarious story of when two Nanach showed the late R. Steinman the holy Petek, they waited a long time in line one night with everyone - a large assembly, until their turn, he received them very amiably and heard them out, until Amos got to showing him how one can discern in the lines of the holy Petek the image of a hand etc. and then all of the sudden R. Steinman said he doesn't feel well and he closed shop for the night.
When told properly, especially if you can visualize this, this can send you into intense giggles.

HH the first day I merited to be at the holy tomb of our holy Rebbe Na Nach Nachma Nachman Me'Uman in almost six months I was hijacked by the holy Petek and all I was able to do was scream "The Petek" for hours on end, as if there was no prayer, no learning, nothing in the world whatsoever just the holy Petek!

On the way to receiving the Torah

Erev Shavuos I took the bus from Tiberius to Jerusalem, and a boy got on and he was talking on the phone in English, and when he finished, he turned to me and asked me in Hebrew if I had a siddur, and knowing that he was American, I answered in English, and one thing led to another, until it was revealed that this boy Shaul S. had been a major player in the white Nanach mini-school bus, he had helped pay for its trips and had participated in a bunch of music festivals with it. So I invited him to stay with me in my hotel room, and we spent s a lot of the holiday together, and in this way he merited to be by the holy tomb of King David and see the skinny dipping which takes place at daybreak by the Shiloach - down the mountain outside the Dung Gate, do the morning services at the Kosel, and all types of other things B"H. He told me that it was extreme Hashgacha Prutis that he had joined me on the bus, because not only is he not used to speaking to people on buses, but he shouldn't have been on the bus at all, because he had been at the bus station almost an hour earlier for an earlier bus, and somehow he missed it, and then he had tried to get the next bus, but he was caught in middle of buying a drink, and the bus driver wouldn't let him on, and so he was forced to wait for the third bus - the one I was on!

There you have a little bit of my adventures of Shavuos, B"H.

BTW of course we hid Peteks all over the room as did the other people in our little Nanach convention - so the next time you stay in a hotel in Israel - beware you might just be surrounded by Saba and the holy petek of Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman!

BTW2 you may have seen in the news that there was a model of the Ark on display in Kikar Safra which costed tens of thousands of dollars which was demolished Shavuos night. The truth is (it wasn't in Kikar Safra, but in Kikar Tzahal - I think, but I'm not so sure of the names) it was a very cheap looking presentation - which was absolutely not in the proper dimensions of the Ark - not by any stretch of imagination - and Shaul says that he was shocked to see placards on the model proclaiming the name of j.c. - so this was a very cheap, underhand ploy at incitement of the thousands or tens of thousands of orthodox jews who traverse this spot, at specifically this holy time. (When I passed by the model, I didn't see the placard, but neither did I see the menora, both of which Saul saw when he passed by some time after me, so obviously they had erected this right there and then to missionize or incite or both).

Rabbi of Breslov of Manchester comes out openly in favor of the holy Petek

The Gabbai of the holy tomb of Rabbi Nachman of Breslov, Yisroel Barzel, just told me that he met R. Elimelech HaCohen Zilbigger the Rabbi of the Breslov of Manchester buying a thick wad of Peteks, and he was a little surprised, and asked himnif he really believed in the holy Petek, and the rabbi emphatically affirmed, and continued to relay various hints in the holy Petek that prove its veracity, like the letters EMESS - truth that are found in the top right corner, and other allusions.
Yisroel Barzel told him that he didn't need any proof, because some ten years ago he asked Rabbainu himself on the holy tomb, and immediately opened up a Torah and put his finger directly on the words, and the writing is the writing of Gd!

Nanach is the narrow bridge one must take in this world

Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman - the essential Rabbi Nachman. Saba Yisroel was the only Breslover in all of Tiberius, the whole city, men women and children mocked him and castigated him, yet he fortified himself with the holy teachings and methods of Rabbi Nachman of Breslov and managed to surmount their antagonism not only with resilience but with joy and exuberance. However when he saw that he had succumbed and ate on the fast of the 17th of Tamuz, he couldn't come to terms with how he had been let down to commit such a blunder, all of Judaism was reliant on him to bear the true tradition of Rabbainu and yet he can come to such a thing as not honoring completely the solemness of the fasting for the destruction of the temple? None of the teachings and techniques of Rabbi Nachman were able to restore his standing, he could find no solace no raison d'etre. All the teachings that had given him such formidable strength and resolve did nothing for him now, and were to no avail. It was only then that he was prepared from on high to receive the way of Rabbi Nachman which had never been divulged, not even to Rabbi Nussun, the way of dealing with those who had completely fallen from the faith Heaven forbid. Upon receiving the holy Petek, Saba Yisroel knew like never before that there absolutely was no despair in the world whatsoever, true he had heard and relied on those very words before, but previously he had known those words in the paradigm of Torah, and when a person falls Heaven forbid completely from the Torah then he will obviously be confronted with doubts in this dictum as well, but now he knew - even outside of the paradigm of Torah - he knew in the very paradigm of existence, in the paradigm of prayer, that there was no despair in the world whatsoever, and with this realization he was infused with supernal joy not of this world, and he was reset and prepared for the mission he was to accomplish initializing the entire world to the holy ways of Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman.

Today there are people that call themselves Breslov, who are really old, set in their ways may the Merciful One save us, they have everything figured out and packaged, they will pander to the masses their wisdoms and contrivances, but this is not Breslov, this is not truth. They have systems and balances, but none of that can withstand the rigors of today's turbulence. So they are just a facade of falsehood may the Merciful One save us. And likewise there are people on the other extreme who have rejected to some extent basic tenets of the Torah, and parade pridefully and staunchly claiming to be Nanach.

One must traverse in this world on a very narrow bridge... Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman!

The Golden Petek

Saba is recorded saying (more or less -  this roughly from my memory): maybe you think we need to make the Petek from gold? No, there is no such need, the Petek itself is gold!

Saba also is recorded having said that the Petek has all the colors.

So now look at how Rabbainu describes the hair of child born to the geebor and the queen's daughter in the Story of Ancient Times of a Prayer Leader:

"his hair was golden and had all the colors..."

Also consider how Saba refered to his holy awesome masterpiece: Blossoms of the Spring, as a son born to him...

Difference between 49 levels of tuma and 50

HH our Sages revealed that in Egypt the Jews sunk to 49th level of impurity and had they been there just a bit longer they would have hit 50 and it would have been over. But now that we have been given the Torah we have the ability to survive even the 50th and that in fact is where we are.

Possibly the 49 is what the Egyptians were completely living the occult of black magic and demons and the like. This created an atmosphere of complete evil. Even still, that itself could be determined - that it was their own invention and creation. The 50th is when the evil is not based on demons and the like but science and philosophy which explain everything in the universe establishing heresy as the defining power of the universe. The Egyptians couldn't do this, their evil little souls didn't have the breadth to build that system, but they set the stage for the Jews to develop it. So HY had to hasten the redemption before the Jews would bring the occult of the 49 to the utter heresy of the 50th.
Since the Torah is the blueprint of the world, no science or philosophy can successfuly dominate in its presence, the sciences are slaves to the blueprint.
Even still it is very challenging. Science and philosophy has crept into our thinking, the way we think about things and how we associate our knowledge and understanding of what goes on around us. Someone completely enveloped in the Torah would be protected but for a few hundred years already almost no one had the the strength and ability to do that.
Rabbainu's teaching are the utter antedote. Because Rabbainu shows the roots of the Torah, and he shows where the heresy of the scientists and philosophers are rooted, where they are leeching from, whether it is from the Vacated Space or the Fallen Broken Letters, and so forth.
Even still, as we fell even deeper, and became completely enveloped in the 50th - the Vacated Space which G-d Himself chose not to be seen or realized, even the holy powerful teachings of Rabbainu are insufficient and can not dissipate the forces of heresy, the Vacated Space is powered by G-d Almighty, no system of holiness can be supported. There is only one thing that can overcome the VS, and that Rabbainu started to reveal in Likutay Moharan, is the song of the true tzaddik. The song is known to the Jewish soul, that is why all the children of Abraham are called Ivrim, because they can leap over the VS, but this is only the soul - subconscious level. The tzaddiks song actually peerces through the VS and rescues the souls caught there, injecting them with the Emuna - faith the antithesis of the VS. This is in LKM, but it is also only on a soul- subconscious level, only in the holy Petek did Rabbainu come straight out and reveal the holy song of the tzaddik. Na Nach Nachma Nachman Me'Uman.

Peace

So much talk about peace, but if people don't have peace within themselves how can they have peace with others? In every person all the 70 nations are warring, and only through the holy ways of Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman can their war cries be quenched and silenced.

When G-d goes to war he goes alone, in contradistinction to Kings of flesh and blood who need to bring entire armies, and when G-d goes to bring peace, He brings out the troops, in contradistinction to Kings of flesh and blood.... (Rashi, Bamidbar - Numbers 12:5).

G-d's unity is utter peace, thus G-d's unity in itself is the conquering power of all wars, and in the war to end all wars and bring Peace, and then G-d comes out with the troops.

This is the way of Rabbainu Nachman of Breslov - Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman, who has taken upon himself to conquer the world for the Holy One Merciful G-d, and how has he set out -- with one minute little note -- the holy Petek! Who would endeavor such a formidable task and goal and arm himself with a small piece of paper that could be shredded or burned instantly?! Rabbainu - Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman learned this from the Lord G-d Almighty Himself!!!!

With one little Petek Rabbainu turns over the entire universe to the ultimate Good!

The Kabbalist Levi (Saadia) Nachmani המקובל לוי (סעדיה) נחמני על הפתק

Morris Shushan told me that he brought the Kabalist Levi Nachmani to Saba, and Saba showed him the Petek. Levi examined it and told Saba a few insights; he told Saba that according to the Petek, Saba would be making a  big trip soon --- Saba listened  to this with great interest and in fact shortly after Saba made his famous trip to America. Levi also said that according to the Petek Saba would live till 106 (Something that Saba said more than once, that he was 106, however the general consensus is that he was actually 96 years old when he passed on, and the date on his identification had been altered to save him from Turkish conscription).

The Holy Petek initiates the State of Israel

In my book Likutay Nanach I show various manifestations of how Nanach is the way to Israel. It is fascinating to note that Saba received the Petek on Wednesday the 23^rd of Tamuz 5682 – July 19, 1922. 5 days later, on July 24, 1922, the Council of the League of Nations confirmed the Mandate for Palestine!

ב"ה --- סיפר לי ידידנו ישראל ברזל נ"י שלאחר שהוא ניצל ופירש משובו, ולמרות שהיה חבר טוב של מאיר ימיני ז"ל, עם כל זה היה לו עדיין בלבולים על אמיתת הפתק. אז הוא ניגש לציון הקדוש של רבינו באומן, וביקש מרבינו לאמת לו אם הפתק באמת נכון. אז הוא פתח חומש - בול להפסוק והמכתב מכתב אלהים הוא!!!!
