 Things that we were always waiting for to happen in the time of Messiah are already happening. Not everyone will agree on Israel, but there are other things as well. The Sages discussed the role of Eliyahu Hanuvi revealing the lineage of each Jew (Ediyos 8:7), today DNA testing isn't so far away. On the contrary, the Talmud says that a family which has an illegitimate member, if it is unknown, it gets swallowed up and the family will be pure. That would seem to imply that even if scientists would be able to clarify and detect the purity of the lineage, they would be prevented from doing so, and the family would be pure.

Previously on this blog there was discussion about how the amenities and services of technology are a coarse cover up for spiritual forces. As we find that Adam has angels cooking for him and attending to his every desire and whim, whereas nowadays there are appliances at our service to do just that, and the appliances clothe reincarnated souls - as revealed by the Bal Shem Tov.

ולפי זה מבואר לכאורה שאנחנו בעידן חדש לגמרי מאותו עידן של רבינו. וצ"ע אם כן גם לעוד הרבה ענינים של חכמות חיצוניות, כמו ברפואה, אולי יש מקום לסמוך על כמה מהכלי מדידה שלהם [אכן הרופאים עצמם ראינו עין בעין היום כמה צדקו דברי חז"ל שטוב שבהם לגיהנם, כי ראינו במחלת השקרונה איך שהתנהגו בשקר וברשעות ובאכזריות וברציחה ממש], ודבר זה לא יפתר בעצה אחת לכולם, לא ישתוו הדעות בזה, כל אחד כפי האמת שלו. ואכמ"ל.

Technology catching up to support the faith

With the advent of the telegraph and telephone, people had a natural belief that they could speak to G-d in Heaven (-even though HY is everywhere, the prayers go to Heaven).

With the advent of cameras and videos, people understood naturally that all their actions are recorded.

Now with the advent of tools that can be operated by the mind alone, people will understand the importance and severity of good and bad thoughts.

Development and getting closer to the truth even as we sink deeper

There are already a few posts on the blog about science and magic. In Egypt everything was magic, today everything is technology, and the true reality is faith, as the verse says (Psalms 33:4), "and all His deeds/creations are with faith," magic and technology are what the Talmud dismisses as "chaizoo diheye almuh" - facades of this world, wrappings. When the world is more spiritual then the wrappings will also be more spiritual, and that obviously has a strong plus in that faith is in air, and not only does that make it easier to connect, and make a very strong connection to holiness, it also has everyone believing to some extent. Even still there is a great advantage to the sorrowful state of physicality we have sunk to today. The Sages revealed that demons (-the workings of magic) have no power over creatures smaller than a hairbreadth (Rashi on Exodus 8:14), and today most of technology and science works with tiny particles much much smaller. This (I posit) leaves the material free of the influences of the occult, laying it bare for what it is, and that is a huge opportunity affording it to be a pure platform for the true reality. Sure the scientists will undoubtedly continue to misconstrue the import of what they are researching, but even still the matter will remain pristine and unsullied for everyone to still see it for what it truly is. [See however the posts about artificial intelligence, which explain how it is basically just a platform for the imprisoned embedded souls. Even still souls are from an inner paradigm of truth as opposed to demons and the occult which are all external trappings]. This is congruous with what tzadikim said that today even though the souls are so sunken they are more truthful.

Technology and magic

Today most people have great faith and pride in science, but the truth is that all of science is considered a maidservant to true knowledge, - cheetzonee - outer, external, superficial. Science is just an evolution of magic. The science of the occult at least dealt with spiritual forces, and now it has evolved to the very physical. But it remains just the study of measuring and channeling, not of actual conception. Knowledge of all the scientific facts will not enhance a persons life in the slightest. It is meaningless and provides no answers, just statistics. The Zohar says that Moses couldn't even be bothered to give any attention to such knowledge, and consequently King Solomon had greater knowledge in such fields. And all that knowledge didn't save him from going off the deep end, R"L. Rabbi Nussun warned strongly against studying these external wisdoms, and composed very strong prayers of condemnation against them and those that study and teach them.

May Hashem Yisburach protect us from these impurities.

Transmission of Messiah

Technology has provided the means to share images and movies, sights and sounds, there are even inroads to share senses of touch, but I have yet to hear of any breakthrough of sharing smell. The terrible repugnant stench of the media doesn't have reprieve. It occurs to me that only Messiah has this power and ability, and he will transmit the most fragrant aromas as is hinted in Song of Songs and revealed by Rabbainu Na Nach Nachma Nachman Meuman!
Perhaps this is part of he secret of the seventh holy beggar - without feet, because in Song of Songs there is a correlation between the footsteps of Messiah jumping of he mountains in the song that is NNNNM and the wonderful heavenly aroma of those mountains.

Wake up to Reality! Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman!

Technology and Substances have greatly helped the world understand the probability of man tenets of our faith which previously were just that – faith, and now understood to be matter of facts. Like the telephone – making it a given that one can speak to HY whenever and wherever, and the cameras – making it a given that everything we say and do is recorded. And of course there is now augmented and virtual reality which is rapidly progressing. Previously I posted how the movie Matrix might have been inspired by the holy Petek, that movie made a huge impression and impact on the world, powerfully raising awareness of an idea which is just growing stronger and stronger – that our very lives, all our movements, interactions, and dealings, are just projections of the perspective of our minds which might be and can be programmed to experience all life events. Studies and experiments with lsd and other hallucinogens make it clear that people can easily be introduced to life in an alternative reality. These themes are already rampant in the movies and tv. Recently a very popular tv show – Criminal Minds – ran a whole program based on a villain who would drug people and have them live a completely different reality. In the end the villain captures a high member of the fbi and induces her with his drugs having her believe that she is crippled and in severe unbearable excruciating pain. Ultimately the lady breaks out of the spell by virtue of an age old teaching of Our Holy Sages that when one is completely inundated under duress of his evil inclination GF, which imprisons and captures his mind and thoughts, and even Torah learning doesn't break him free, he should remember the day of death – and by contemplating her death, this woman realizes that her entire existence as a cripple is falsehood, and she breaks out. At the end of the show she tells her team that the only thing that kept her going until she was able to break out was by repeating a mantra – no it wasn't Nanach, because Nanach works on the first shot, nuclear bombs don't need to be clustered – "wheels up" – which for various reasons elicits the holy teaching of Rabbainu, that no matter where a person has fallen to, even in the most defiled quagmire of impurity where everything is utterly repugnant with the stench of sin and he can't even find a single point of good, his entire existence is rotten to the core GF and everything is just bleak gloom GF, even from there one must know that there is no existence without GD and he must scream "A-YAY?!" where is he really at?! Where is the GLORY of GD?! (wheels – is similar to A-YUL – which is the ram associated with the awesome quest of A-yeh, and up – is close, especially in Yiddish, to Hope). And by screaming A-yay one transforms his entire reality to be that of the highest revelation of Gd.

Modern Day Slavery - win win situation

In the holy Scriptures, in the Book of Ezra (2:64) we are told that when the Jews returned to Israel after the destruction of the first Temple and 70 years of exile, they numbered 42,360, aside from their 7,337 slaves (2:65). The commentaries point out that these are relatively few slaves, due to their being in exile et al. The Talmud says that in the future every Jew will have 2,800 slaves. So the question is how will this be possible in today's "progressive" world, where people reject the supremacy and wisdom of the Torah, and reject the Torah's allowance of slaves. There is also the basic question of feasibility and practicality of being attended to by so many people.

It seems to me that there is in fact a very simple solution to everyone's mutual benefit. In a previous post I propounded a construct that all the new appliances and applications, specifically those of AI - artificial intelligence, are really vehicles of expression for trapped souls, see there. This being the case, not only is the practical aspect readily understood - as to how each Jew will have so many slaves doting on them, because they will be present in the very machines and programs housing them, there will also not be any disdain or opposition from those who hold themselves above the Torah, because those people lack the knowledge of faith to realize what is going on, and have no problem with people enjoying the servitude of lifeless material (it won't be long until they will also take issue with the right of AI, just give them some time). And thus right before their very eyes a huge modern day industry of slavery will be in effect.

[Perhaps you will ask that according to this everyone will have these slaves not just the Jews, or will they have superior AI? There is more to this that has yet to be revealed].

Realization and recognition of how our actions and words effect the entire world

Our Sages exhorted us over and over again how our every utterance and action deeply impacts the entire world, and fortunate we were in our belief, and those that merited to spiritual perception saw this for themselves. Today we all can see this empirically manifested incarnate in so many things in our lives. Like e.g. auto correct and google suggestions and prompts - all of which are aggregate results contributed by each and every individual, even in their own privacy - what they expressed was recorded and was from then on taken into consideration to effect and make an impression everyone. If everyone would be writing holy things, the search engines would be pumping out holy results, and when GF people write undesirable things, this tilts and slants everything to the bad. The highest is to write and sing Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman!

Kifeetzas haderech

HH in good old times tzadikim would race around with kifeetzas haderech, with the advent of the automobile this became almost obsolete.

Later when people did the walking with their fingers online tzadikim would zap lightning down and uploads, but with the advent of 4g and higher this is also becoming somewhat unnecessary.

What remains seems to be only in the realms of the mind where only tzadikim are found to begin with, while the  rest of the world gets caught up and bogged down in augmented and virtual reality the tzadikim will be doing hyper speeding in the supernal worlds of holy consciousness.

Starting up your engine

When I was a kid many people would have to spend a long time every day at the ignition of their cars trying to get them started, this was daily trials and tribulations, and it was not infrequent that they were simply unsuccessful and that was that. This is something I haven't seen in a very long time - even computer problems - like unsaved documents being deleted - are B"H much much more rare things of the past. And I see all of this as a sign of the times that today one can connect so powerfully and meaningfully to HY without any arduous preparations and the like, one can simply turn aside and speak to HY and really get through, whereas in previous good times it wasn't so simple, devotion of HY demanded much much more, it was a very demanding discipline, very taxing and demanding, and not necessarily fulfilling. Be appreciative and take advantage...

Daas - holy realization of knowledge

HH Blessed is HY Who gave us His holy Torah and inscribed our names and sealed them in the Holy Torah where room is given for existence of diverse mindsets in the absolute Unity of G-d. The Unity is always there; was, is, and will be, and in the cycle of time this will become more and more apparent until it becomes blatant, and eventually a powerful consuming certainty. In today's modern word even religious people often put more faith in science than they do in their religion. And as science progresses producing all types of wonderful technology, more and more people are becoming disillusioned, the new technology hasn't brought real change to anything in their life, they waited and longed for the new computer, phone, robot, and now that they have it they are left with the same emptiness. And maybe this is a big factor in the appeal of islam, which advocates throwing away ones mind and just accepting One G-d. Seeing the uselessness of technology in providing meaning, they despair completely of their acumen, and just fall into mindless subservience. Abraham already referred to it as similar to a donkey, which is not altogether derogatory, for in fact Our Sages praised the righteous who set themselves like domesticate animals in their devotion of HY (Chulin daf 5). The true reality however is that the greatest wisdom and science is the fear of HY, and King Solomon the wisest of all men, and Our Sages in the Talmud already proclaimed that fear of G-d is one with wisdom – it is the very same concept, two sides of one coin, the coin being daas – the holy realization of knowledge – knowledge not just factual or logical – but knowledge which is a person's reality – the way he perceives and relates to everything in his life. Daas is a marriage (which by definition can only be holy) and union of holy knowledge and fear of Heaven – one compliments the other and strengthens the other. A person's knowledge is completely contingent on the paradigm of his reality, if he is stuck in modern science he will never be able to find the knowledge of G-d, which is the true life source and mechanism of everything in the universe, even still the Divine is always hidden everywhere, and even the scientist will have ample opportunities to realize from the very pit of science that there must be a Divine source for everything. The more the person gains awareness of the magnitude of the reality of the One G-d the more he will enter a paradigm where the wisdom is real and meaningful – not just technical relating to molecules and cells, but relating to life, and real life is Divine. And the more real wisdom one gains, the greater his awe of G-d will become – together these two factors create his daas.

The reason why we don't automatically have amazing daas, is because HY created the world with a constriction which blocks out daas, and a person has to break through to merit to the daas. Above the constriction of this blockage is a true reality of daas, it is a paradigm where all existence – aspect of Chuchma - is reflected in the souls of the tzaddikim – the aspect of Bina. Thus the daas we must gain in the world is by drawing close to the true tzaddikim who are the providers and the very paradigm of daas. So first we must dispose of our mindsets which are regulated and enslaved to the constricted reality which is bereft of daas, and then we must gain true daas as it is prescribed and emanated from the true tzaddikim.

Artificial Intelligence - AI

When Artificial Intelligence develops to its optimal modus operandi - it will reveal that it is in fact imbued by the trapped spirits of humans, as the Bal Shem Tov revealed that everything about us (-what we wear, what we eat, etc.) is possessed by these spirits that need rectification. Ultimately, B"H sooner than later, they will all get their rectification, and the machines will be revealed and be known by the angels that are in operation - just as the angels served Adam before he sinned.

Technology Catching Up To Rabbi Nachman

In Rabbi Nachman's Legendary Tales, in the second story of A King and an Emperor, Rabbi Nachman related that the Emperor's daughter had a burning lens which she used like a laser gun to shoot at the prince who is climbing the mast of a neighboring ship and burn his brain. It has come to my attention that there is a TV show, slightly sci-fi which enacted such a gun, where a group of tech savy geniuses put together solar panels to shoot out a ray of heat to burn and blast a tire of a speeding car. Scorpion, season 2 episode 14.
Rabbainu said that in the time of the Messiah people will have their own personal flying machines in which they can readily hop over to visit someone, we have yet to see this, but it seems in the making.

Machine Angels

Technology of today has machines attending to many of our needs, and in the near future it looks like that machines will be able to tend to every little thing we want by a simple motion.

The Talmud (Sanhedrin 59b) says that Adam reclined in Paradise, and the ministering angels roasted meat for him, and distilled wine for him.

The truth is that every physical particle in the world is really just energy (even Einstein started to figure that out), and energy is ultimately spiritual forces, namely angels.

Angels in place of machines is a concept found in Sanhedrin 105b where the Talmud discusses what exactly HY put in Bilaams mouth, Rabbi Eliezer says, an angel, whereas Rabbi Yonason says a metal hook. Especially in Kabala and Chasidus conflicts like this are shown to really be in agreement, just each side highlighting a different facet.  Thus this excerpt is really bringing out the point of this article.

So all the machines and technology at work for us, is bringing us back full circle to how it was for Adam in Paradise. The big difference being, Adam saw the reality, that he was being attended to by forces directly empowered by HY, whereas we suffer the delusion that some physical entity is arbitrarily at our command.

Indeed, self-driving cars, are strongly reminiscent of the holy wagon of the Baal Shem Tov, who would retire the coachman and put the wagon on automatic pilot - kefitzas haderech. This suggests that we are entering a paradigm of existence of such magnitude, that even the average person should readily be experiencing G-d on such a high divine level of consciousness. May we merit to fully live this new life...
