Secure travels to Rabbainu Na Nach Nachma Nachman Me'Uman

HH

On  my way to Rabbainu NNNNM for Rosh Hashana, in the airport I had to undergo the Elal all serious precheck in interrogation and security check. The lady asked me where I'm flying, so I replied to Rabbi Nachman - NNNNM, she wasn't happy with my answer, and asked again where are you flying? And I repeated to Rabbainu NNNNM. This charade repeated itself a few times, with each of us trying to us different variations of our dialogue to get our  point across, she would say but what is your destination and so forth. Finally she asks but to what city are you flying, to which I replied Uman! This wasn't either the answer she wanted, and we tried it again to no avail. Finally she asks but where is the airport?! Ahhhh, Kiev of course, and now she had her answer. Undoubtedly it did her a world of good to hear all the time about the ultimate final destination.

The poor rich society of Parshas Mitzoara - lepers

HH
Every time he comes its fair to say 50 people confront him asking him for charity, after all he claims that he bought ... for tens of millions, but unfortunately he has nothing to give them, and that is not something he can deal with. So this time bringing a larger group than I've seen with him he made sure to procure the services of P. the chussid of the rabbi just caught by interpol, who arranged for the group to sit outside of the camp, and he stood guard like in the story of the Prayer Leader that the ones who worshipped wealth had guards.

Gaichazi who had leprosy for asking money from Naaman, and later when he discovered that Aram who was seiging Israel had deserted leaving all their wealth and provisions, eventually stopped his own private pillage and alerted the nation.

Maybe there is yet a chance for these privileged elite, and may they merit to come again, and generously give the few dollars to keep the paupers at bay, without having to resort to leprosy and security.

Nanach makes drugs look like garbage patch dolls

HH

So B"H somehow I was given the right to one piece of luggage, in addition to a carry on, so I took a big box of matza (2 and 1/2 kilo I think) and filled it with about 20 new Legendary Tales so that from Uman they can make their way to English speaking locations. The airport security had a real heyday with it, I told them straight out that it wasn't matza we were dealing with, but something much more powerful - books of Rabbainu! So first they ran the box through some machines, xray I presume, and that just whetted their appetite, and they opened up the box and had all types of discussions over it , and they started examining the books and the stack of paper fliers which have one story printed on it, they called me in, and another guy came in and took another look at my passport, and this went on for some time, all the while I goaded them on, explaining to them that their machines were sensing the utter power of Nanach but couldn't put their finger on it. In any event they got quite a mouthful of Nanach B"H, and eventually my matza box of Rabbainu was freed and given over to be put on the plane.

Charity brings security!

HH

A friend of mine here in Tiberias went away for Shabbos, before leaving he brought me a few snacks for Shabbos, junk food that I do not usually indulge in, however I was happy to accept them, and put off the consideration of whether or not I was going to eat them or pass them on to the many Nanach guests that were coming.
Friday night -- in middle of the night, maybe even the wee early hours of the morning, I was hit with some cravings, and I popped out the snacks, in honor of the holy Shabbos, of course.

When my friend returned home after Shabbos, he discovered that a thief had broken in to his home, and had taken some trifles from his wife's jewelry, his assessment is that the thief panicked and made a quick exit. The thief took a few inexpensive trifles and overlooked a gold bracelet sitting right there, and $200 in a little container also right there. So chances are that my little party interfered with his heist.

So one of the many morals of the story is that you should always give your friends junk food in honor of the Shabbos.
