Hypocrisy outside from inside

Many are astounded at the sheer ludicrous conduct of the haters of Israel. Like the U.N. deciding that the Western Wall isn't Jewish, their support of an education which is full of hatred and incitement, and putting Suadia Arabia at the head of women's rights!?.

And similarly so many other things, like the leftists strong advocacy for Islam, when according to Islam they would be slaughtered.

How do such crazy policies have any standing whatsoever?!

The answer is that it is empowered by everyone on their own personal paradigm. When people do not live the truth they invite the world to run in a similar hypocritical fashion.

Among many ultra right they sing the final words of Samson - I will avenge my eyes from the Pilishtim/palistinians - with so much fervor and excitement, even as they are falling in the very mistake which was the downfall of Samson - he went after his eyes (as revealed in the Talmud). This highlights the point of this post. The entire fantasy and flimsy imagination of the tv, movies, media is this power which is bringing down Israel, and to combat it Israel needs to get out of its bondage, and strengthen in truth and reality, real reality of Torah. But as long as people are still slaves to the aforementioned fantasies, they empower the world to follow suit on the global level. Even as the people are astounded and amazed at falsehood and hypocrisy, it is being fueled internally by they themselves.

Parshas Va-yeegash - making amends

Va-yeegash (Genesis 45:3) ולא יכלו אחיו לענות אתו כי נבהלו מפניו- and his brothers couldn't answer him because they were bewildered from his presence.

The brothers had came down to Egypt intent on finding Yosef and rescuing him, they were even prepared to wage war against all of Egypt to rescue him, to fix their grave sin of selling him. But what they were not prepared for was that Yosef would not need their help at all, and that they could not gain any sense of feeling of redemption by some grandiose rescue or any restoration of Yosef to his former status (- that is why they didn't recognize him in the first place, because his looking a little different was enough for them to build a mental defense against the possibility that it was him). This calls to mind the book Count of M.C. which is so trivial in that the count comes back and has his vengeance on all his enemies, because they all have greatness that he can take away, and all the people he wants to award are in great need - it all works out so nice and convenient, but if the enemies were just lowly people he wouldn't have anything to get revenge, and if those he wanted to award were already wealthy and honorable there wouldn't be anything he could do, very pathetic. So here too the brothers were stuck with this reality that there was no simple way of gaining penance by undoing the wrong, the wrong had already been fixed without them, and now they were utterly helpless.
So Yosef Hatzadik called them near and showed them his circumcision - for Yosef is the aspect of yesod-foundation (the real foundation, is the inner level, because always the external level stands completely on the level within - which manifests itself so meekly in the external level), he told them that if they wanted to make things right, they were all still in this world together, and by keeping their faith and brotherhood pure they could in fact still achieve redemption. Because nothing is withheld from G-d, and by keeping true to the aspect of Yosef G-d would avail them of the complete rectification they had presumed to attain. The Yesod is always attached to the aspect of Ain - nothingness of the Ain Sof (No Limit - Infinite G-d) - the Yesod is always completely new, and in renewal everything can be achieved, and the completion of the foundation is only by virtue of the successful building that stands upon it. So ultimately his entire best interest was in their success, and their success would be the rectification. This is what Yosef told them, I was sent here to sustain you, what would it look like if I were to wrong you now... and all the other things, check it out for yourself....

נקמה -- מנהג לשים סכין בתוך קבר יהודי הנרצח - The custom to burya murdered Jew with a knife

סיפור שאינה לא ידוע, ונשכח בהיסח הדעת, אבל יש לנו ללמוד מהר ממנה למעשה, ובעזה"י נראה נקם מאויבינו, בזכות הפתק הקדוש של נ נח נחמ נחמן מאומן:

In the writings of the great Breslover Hasid, R' Shmuel Horowitz ob"m (a best friend of Saba Yisroel, receiver of the holy Petek of Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman), he records the following story:

There was once a very successful Jewish merchant, and the gentiles were jealous of him and they ambushed him and killed him R"L, HYD. He was buried with a knife in his grave, as that was the custom to so bury a murdered Jew. Afterwards the gentiles began to see this Jew chasing after them with a knife, and he would kill them one by one. They had no idea what was going on, but there was an apostate Jew amongst them who revealed to them the custom, and they decided to dig up the grave and if they would find it to be true that there was a knife there, they would G"F wipe out the Jewish community. That night the Rabbi of the city, the holy Ba"Ch was studying the whole night and before sunrise he dosed off and in a dream he was warned to quickly remove the knife from the grave, he didn't pay much attention to the dream, until it occurred again and again. So he immediately ordered for it to be done, they went to the grave and dug it up and they found this Jew clutching the knife in his hand and they were unable to release it from his iron grasp. They informed the Ba"Ch. The Ba"Ch told them to tell the Jew that they would accept upon themselves various virtuous rectifications of Torah learning, prayer, and good deeds if he would release the knife, but it was to no avail. They were running out of time, so the Ba"Ch himself went over and whispered something into his ear, and with that the murdered Jew gave up the knife, and they quickly resealed his grave. No one knew what the Ba"Ch had whispered, until it came time for the holy Ba"Ch to pass away, and he commanded that he be buried next to this Jew.......

Revenge - a murdered Jew is buried with a knife - and he takes them out one by one

In the time of the Ba"ch, the gentiles were jealous of a successful Jewish merchant, so they murdered him R"L. When they buried him, they put a small knife in the grave, as was the custom for a murdered Jew. Afterwards a gentile saw this murdered Jew chasing after him with a knife, and he killed him, and this reoccurred time and time again, and he was intent on killing all of them... until an apostate Jew figured out what was happening, and the gentiles said that the next day they would dig up the grave and if they found a knife there they would G"F kill out all the Jews. That night the Bach's father came to him in a dream and warned him to remove the knife from the grave, the Bach didn't believe in dreams, but it happened 3 times, so he took note and sent the Chevra Kadisha to extract the knife. They dug up the grave and saw Yosselle with the knife in his hand, and try as they might they couldn't remove it. So they told the Bach, the Bach told them to tell Yosselle that they would learn mishnayos for him and all sorts of such favors, but it was to no avail, Yosselle wouldn't give up the knife! It was nearing daybreak so the Bach came in person, and wasn't successful. Finally the Bach whispered something in his ear, and Yosselle gave up the knife, and they sealed up the grave. That day the gentiles dug up the grave and saw that there was no knife. No one was able to divulge from the Bach the secret which he whispered into Yosselle's ear. When the Bach died he revealed that he promised Yosselle that in return for saving the city, he as the Rav of the city would be buried next to him, and so it was...
