Healed from Sickness and from Tyranny

 HH

The Talmud (Nedarim 41a) says that someone who was sick, does not recuperate from their illness until all their sins are forgiven.

BH many people had the courage and integrity not to take the experimental deadly vac., and many of these people actually contracted cor. and fell sick, and ultimately recovered - forgiven for all their sins (-those who took the vac and still got stick brought upon themselves and the whole world Divine wrath). Someone forgiven for their sins would be free of the tyrannies of today's governments, however if a person does not have proper complete faith in Divine Providence they will fall into the general conduct of the world (-this is a big topic, not for here), but if enough people are absolved of sin, they themselves form a collective to be guided by a general conduct by Above. So BH since many people withstood this test and the plandemic, we can assume that they initiated a very favorable general conduct, and we can hope to see great alleviations of the evils of the tyranny we are experiencing today.

Good deed of the Day

HH
As you might know, I barely leave my little Nanach enclave ever, today however I decided to venture out to the supermarket. It was already getting dark. On the way I saw this guy lying on the ground on the curb, I almost continued but I managed to call out to him if all was ok. No answer, so I walked over. This guy had broken his cane and fell, almost no teeth, twisted feet, and reeked like the garbage bin, some of his purse contents had also spilled out. He couldn't speak, only mutter a bit once in a very long time. Anyway I figured that this is why I had came out tonight, and I gave him all my attention, telling him to take his time, no rush, just to everything the best way possible. And so I helped him gather his stuff and make his way to his apartment some 3-4 stories up. Even though I am usually particular not to touch anyone, here I obviously had no choice but to assist him and support him. Later when I got to the supermarket I scrubbed my hands with soap but the stench remained, now I applied bleach which is causing a different unpleasant smell blended with the soap.... oy vay. In any event when we got up to his apartment he couldn't find the key, I also tried going through his purse but couldn't find it. So I went all the way back to the scene of his fall, and search and searched with no luck. So I went back up, and there he was, he had found the key, so I helped him open the door and turn on the lights (he managed to say "chashmal" - electricity), got his ok that he was alright, and departed.

The Last Journey of Dr. Gevald's Nanach Mobile

HH

On Monday September 2, 2012, I set out from the Swan Lake towards Montreal, at exit 30 of the Thruway, I turned off to get gas, because the car was completely empty. There was no gas there, and some guy told me that the nearest gas was exit 31 - 13 miles away. So without a choice I booked over to exit 31 and I arrived at the pump with the last spurt of gas, so I thought I made it - I put in some gas, and resumed the journey, but I didn't make it very far before the transmission wiped out, just as a shoulder appeared on the side of the road. There was a house in the distance, but I was separated by a fenced hill and the Booulet River. So first I hike off in a different direction and I find a camp site with the burial site of "Zack the best dog in the world". Eventually I headed over to the house, which was not inhabited, but there were some people in trailers behind the house. - The cell phone I have didn't have "minutes" and I tried to add minutes but was unable - the whole night I wasn't able - another bad experience with AT&T. As I approached the house I saw a police car pull up to my car - but I was to far to do anything about it, I tried 911 and got cut off. So this older couple in a trailer let me use their phone, but I couldn't call Canada, and everyone I was calling wasn't answering, finally I got ahold of my cousin MW who tried to help but there wasn't much he could do. Meanwhile I also got through to the police and I told them where I was, they told me to return to the car, after making some plans for what would happen, I headed back to the car, about half way there the police drove off, later the officer complained to me that he wasted a half hour waiting there for me. Another officer told me that he saw me praying there - that must have been Mincha which I did as soon as I was stuck on the shoulder. Back in the Nanach mobile I tried playing around with some prayers, and the car actually moved a few feet, but that was it - today the tow truck guy told me that he examined the transmission and it is completely wiped out, he also thinks that the gas wasn't the whole problem, because there were other tragedies going on as evidenced by leakages of oil. Eventually a policeman came and told me that I should never have left the car, especially since it was very dangerous because there are bears and what not out there, obviously he didn't know about G-d or for That matter - Na Nach. The tow truck guy came and I gave him the car in return for the tow - he left me off at the Essex County Correctional Facility right off of exit 32. Cleaning out the Nanach mobile was a lengthy ordeal, and I also salvaged the stereo. The police were not happy with my being there and told me that they wouldn't give me very much time, they didn't want me using their phone so they directed me to a nearby diner - which was closed, and the adjacent gas station didn't have a phone. There was a guy who pulled up for gas - Li'im, he was very nice and he let me use his phone, and I told him about Nanach. Li'im plays the cello. On the phone I got through to Avi in Montreal, but he couldn't get a car. He got busy calling people, but didn't succeed. Then a Jew from Williamsburg driving a van with his whole family pulls up, he's looking for the house of a Rabbi Lifer - it's supposed to be nearby - but he can't find it. So Liim and I keep at it, and then another Jew from Williamsburg or Monroe pulls up - he's a regular at this gas station, he also heard of Lifer but didn't know his whereabouts. Then a lady cop pulls up, and I tell her you probably came for me - that's what I figured because all my stuff was sitting by their station and I had been gone for some time. She said that she had come to show someone where the gas station was, and she asked me if she could help me in any way. So, nothing to lose, I asked her if she knew where Rabbi Lifer's house was. She said sure - there's only one house here and there's a rabbi there - and it's right there.... Liim is really getting a taste of Nanach now! Then the gas station attendant came out to tell us that he's closing soon at 11:00, and he hears what's going on - and he apologizes to me, saying that he didn't know that I was looking for the rabbi - the house is right there, its open 24 hours a day, with coffee and tea, he's excited about this, as are we all - 2 Chasidishe families in their vans, the Korean (?) gas station attendant and Liim... So Liim has to get going, and B"H he'll be following up on Nanach, and the Chasideshe's drive over to the house - where a third family appeared (I don't remember when they made their appearance, it is possible that they had also been with us the gas station), and I got all my bags from the penitentiary (amazing how earlier I had this discussion with someone about things that cause a person to be incarcerated C"V, as posted recently in nanach.net - and how even in today's time this happens to Nanachs - straight up!) and head over to the Hachnasas Orchim, where I am entertaining the families till about 12:30. The house has a phone and (maybe this is a secret so I won't write it.....). That's the wraps on the first part of the story, B"H there will be a very happy Nanach ending which of course will be a beginning.
Great blessings of Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman!

The epilogue is that the guy helped me find a ride to Montreal (paying the fare - 2 people actually drove right past) and has since been in contact with me and has given me more more money B"H.

Fire up Lug BuOmer

HH the more fires that were kindled and blazed in honor of Lag BuOmer the more Israel was spared from the ravages of fire. Even if a few of the holy fires might have went out of control, this is likened to what Rabbainu said about the importance of getting advice from a true tzadik, because that way even if it doesn't work out one can be certain that he is being dealt exact Divine Providence, whereas without having gotten the advice he might have just been dealt some punishment, similarly any holy fire that went awry, one can be certain that this was the desired intention from Heaven, whereas some belligerent fire is an all probability an act of wrath and judgement.
Of course the main fire is the fire of Rabbainu Na NaCh NaChMa NaChMaN MayUMaN burning strong till the coming of Messiah.

Update!
The morning after I wrote this, I was reading the Zohar about how there is one fire which extinguishes all other fires!!!!

And shortly thereafter I found out that one of the places devastated by fire had been adamant that there be no fires in honor of Lag BuOmer...
May HY have mercy....

Nachman Shabsai OB"M - post from 7/28/09

HH

There are amazing stories about Nachman Shabsai that I heard, they are trying to write them down and make a book B"H.
First I would like to remind you of a previous post, that during the week of the mourning for N"S the Daf Yomi spent 4 days learning about very very holy tzadikim who were extremely fat (Bava Metzia 83b - 86 see Tosfos there).
Here is one story:
During Sfiras Hu-Omer (if I recall correctly) N"S was hospitalized. He had many many visitors to the extent that minyanim would convene prayers there and eventually the hospital refused to put up with them. One person told me that when he arrived at the hospital to visit N"S and asked the nurse where to find him, the nurse knew his room number by heart, and asked, "what is he some type of admu"r?" An arab man who was in the hospital told one of my friends that he had been prepared to commit suicide until N"S talked him out of it. A few similar amazing tidbits come to mind, maybe I"ll be zoche to write them later.
The hospital put him on a diet of: cucumbers, tomatoes, cheese, water (and maybe one other thing). Once he asked my friend M"O to get him some wafers, Mordichai told him that N"S had to keep his diet, N"S told M"S: you think I need you to get wafers, Hashem Yisborach can get them for me a different way. Shortly afterwards and arab youth was walking by - eating wafers. N"S asked him if he could have some, without a word the boy walked over and gave N"S the whole bag.
Later, in middle of the night, a nurse saw the empty bag of wafers near N"S and berated and rebuked him for not keeping his diet. N"S told her that he need lafah (something similar to schwarma) the nurse told him that he was crazy, how was he going to get lafa in middle of the night. N"S told her that H"Y was able to do everything. Just then the phone rang it was an American friend asking if he could come visit. N"S told him for sure, and to bring some lafa, the friend arrived with the lafa and 100 shekel for N"S.
another story:
N"S once got on a bus and sat in the back. He started complaining that he was hungry, famished. People were disgusted, slowly they left the back of the bus and made their way to the front. One woman began yelling at N"S how dispicable he was, that he should go on a diet.... N"S took it all quietly as the woman let it all out. Before N"S got off the bus N"S began to bless the woman with blessing after blessing....
another story:
Once at a chasuna (there's a whole story how he got there but I don't remember it well enought to write down, it's something like taking a "special" taxi from Yerushalayim to Beis Shemesh even though he hadn't any money, when they arrived they quickly got the money, M"O who was with him also raised 200 shekel and found that N"S had already paid, N"S took 100 from M"S and gave it to someone as charity (he supported many people and often gave all his money to charity)) he was told that a few feet away there was a free bus that would take him home. N"S said H"Y is everywhere and that he didn't have to budge. In the end someone pulled up right next to N"S and drove him home to the door.
these are just some of many stories that I have recently heard.

The Virtue of Saying Na Nach Nachma Nachman MayUman 5-9

HH

5
For in reality the mentioning of the names of the tzadikim is a very, very wondrous and awesome matter, and is extremely beneficial for the devotion of Hashem Yisburach.
(Yimay Moharnat – The Days of Our Teacher Rabbi Nussun 17).

6
The virtue of mentioning their names is unfathomable, and it would consume many folios to explain some of the immeasurable good virtues/benefits/advancements which are produced/grow from this.
(Shaimoas Hatzadikim – The Names of the Tzadikim)

7
And this is the aspect of the virtue of mentioning the names of the tzadikim, because in the holy name of each and every tzadik, (in it) is included the entire nature/essence of the tzadik, all of his righteousness, and his Torah, and his good deeds, and all of his virtues and his (spiritual) levels, because the name is his nefesh (-lower soul) and his neshama (-higher soul) as explained above. And therefore through mentioning the name of the tzadik we draw upon ourselves his holiness and his merit, and through this we as well will merit to holiness, and purity, and to return to Him blessed He. For example, when we mention the name of the Tana[1] Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai, in this name is included all the deeds of this Tana, that he was in the cave for thirteen years and authored the book of the Zohar, and all the stories which are related of him, all of them are included in this holy name – Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai. And similarly with the other names of the tzadikim.
(Likutay Halachos, Orach Chaim 2, Things that are practiced at a meal 4:6)

8
Through mentioning the names of the tzadikim the power of their ruach hakoadesh (-Divine Inspiration) is aroused, and faith in the inception (-new creation) of the world is drawn into the world, through which there is drawn a radiance from the future renewal of the world which will be through this as mentioned above, through which the world will be conducted in the aspect of providence (-hashgacha) and supernatural wonders.
(Likutay Halachos, Orach Chaim 2, Washing Hands for a Meal 4:6).

9
In the future there will be aroused a new song of the aspect of the wondrous, the aspect of providence (-hashgacha), because then there will be an administration/policy solely by means of providence (-hashgacha, i.e. there will be no apparent randomness or natural course of events). And this new song which will be aroused in the future is the aspect of a song which is pashoot (-simple, single), kufool (-double), mishoolush (-triple, triangular), miroovuh (-fourfold, square/d), which amount to 72 (Eyen Bais. Y, Y”H, Y”HV, Y”HVH = 10, 15, 21, 26 = 72), the aspect of kindness (-chessed = 72), through which there will be a renewal of the world in the future, the aspect of (Psalms 89:3), “the world is/will be created with kindness <chessed>.[2]

And know my brother, the reader, that in the matter of the new song which will arouse in the future which is explained in this discourse[3], which is the aspect of the call which waters the Garden where all the fragrances and fears grow, which is the aspect of the call of the worthy rebuker who increases and gives pleasant fragrance in the souls of Israel who hear his rebuke, which is the aspect of Messiah, the aspect of (Genesis 49:15), “and he became a taxed worker,[4]” see there. There is in all this very deep and lofty secrets, secrets of secrets, esoterics of esoterics, very awesome, as could be understood from his (-Rabbi Nachman’s) holy motions when he mentioned the verse (Ruth 4:14), “Blessed is G-d who did not withhold from you a redeemer etc..” For I heard that from his holy motions, of blessed memory, then, and from the pleasantness of the voice and melody that he said this verse, it appeared as though he himself as well was giving praise and thanks to Hashem Yisburach for giving them such a redeemer to engage in the rectification and the redemption of their souls and in the drawing forth of the spirit of Messiah through the drawing forth of such wondrous and awesome rectifications. And (it was) then, on this Rosh Hashana, he related the matter of the melody and the song that will be the Oalum Habuh (-Future World, reward) of all the tzadikim and chasidim (-pious), as is explained elsewhere.[5] And it was understood that this (song which would be the reward of the righteous) is pertinent to the new song which is explained in this discourse.
(The Life of Our Leader Rabbi Nachman 43).

Na Nach Nachma Nachman MayUman!

[1] Sage of the Mishna.
[2] The entire verse is relevant: “For I have said, a/the world is/will be created with kindness [alternatively: a world of kindness will be created], (in the) Heavens, (you) establish Your faith in them.”
[3] Likutay Moharan volume 2 Torah 8.
[4] Rabbi Nachman revealed (article 10) that “taxed <li-mass>” is like the Hebrew word for rubbing, which is done to bring out the fragrance, and “worker <oavaid>,” is a reference to Oavaid who is mentioned in the end of the Book of Ruth as a scion in the royal lineage of the House of David. The previous verse and the beginning of this verse further allude to the different aspects and steps of this awesome discourse, as revealed by Rabbi Nachman there.

Nanach On The Torah Portion of Bishalach - references to all the original teachings of Rabbi Nachman of Breslov and his disciples

HH

Bishalach – פרשת בשלח – When <Pharoah> Sent <the Jews>

And it was when Pharaoh sent the nation and (G-d) did not lead etc. and with provisions/arms/one fifth the Children of Israel ascended from the land of Egypt.

Leaving the Haichulay Hatimooroas (Chambers of Exchange) it is necessary to establish the means to receive the light of the risheemoo (notable residue) of the light, and through this it is possible to retain a holy stance

This matter transpires over everyone who desires to draw HY

13:19 וַיִּקַּח מֹשֶׁה אֶת עַצְמוֹת יוֹסֵף עִמּוֹ: And Moshe took the bones of Yosef with him.

The main redemption is through the power of the true tzadik

14:9 וַיִּרְדְּפוּ מִצְרַיִם אַחֲרֵיהֶם וַיַּשִּׂיגוּ אוֹתָם וגומר: And the Egyptian chased after them and they reached them etc..

Pharaoh and his army chase after every man who desires to come close to Hashem Yisburach

In such circumstances a person must not look back at the enemy rather he must do what is upon him and scream to Hashem Yisburach

14:10 וַיִּירְאוּ מְאֹד וַיִּצְעֲקוּ בְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל אֶל יְהוָֹה: And they were very frightened, and the Children of Israel screamed to Hashem.

The main thing a person is tested with, is by this that HY first gives him a radiating countenance and then hides His countenance

The main test and aspect of this is in the matter of parnassa (livelihood)

Likutay Halachos, Laws of Collecting Debt from Orphans 5:3

Boa – פרשת בא – Come <to Pharaoh>

10:2 וּלְמַעַן תְּסַפֵּר בְּאָזְנֵי בִנְךָ וּבֶן בִּנְךָ וגומר: And in order that you tell over in the ears of your children and childrens' children etc..

It is necessary to make known the might of Hashem Yisburach

Likutay Halachos, Laws of Power of Attorney 4:7

10:22 וַיְהִי חֹשֶׁךְ אֲפֵלָה בְּכָל אֶרֶץ מִצְרַיִם שְׁלֹשֶׁת יָמִים: And there was pitch darkness in all of the land of Egypt three days.

Reason of the plague of darkness

Likutay Halachos, Laws of Chudush-New Produce 3:4

11:4 כַּחֲצֹת הַלַּיְלָה אֲנִי יוֹצֵא בְּתוֹךְ מִצְרָיִם: At about midnight I will go out into Egypt.

Exile is the lack of daas (holy realization of knowledge) that everything is with Hashgacha (Divine Providence) and it is attributed to nature, and this is the matter of darkness and night, and when HY redeems Israel He extends upon them Hashgacha from the aspect of the Future World

Therefore the redemption was at night that specifically then He illuminated to them that everything was with Hashgacha (Divine Providence)

Likutay Halachos, Laws of Washing Hands in the Morning 2

12:12 וְעָבַרְתִּי בְאֶרֶץ מִצְרַיִם בַּלַּיְלָה הַזֶּה: And I will pass through (/reveal myself) in the land of Egypt in this night.

Through the great light which HY radiated the power of the evil realm was nullified, and the Jews had to flee because after a nullification there is an even more powerful resurgence

This matter transpires over every person, and it is necessary to not be dissuaded from this even it strikes myriads of times.

Likutay Halachos, Laws of Washing Hands in the Morning 4:4

Seven Days you should eat matzah however on the preceding day you should put to cessation the leaven from your houses.

Matzah is the aspect of Hashgacha (Divine Providence) the opposite of chumetz (leaven) and therefore on Passover it is forbidden to eat chumetz

Likutay Halachos, Laws of Washing Hands in the Morning 2

12:21 מִשְׁכוּ וּקְחוּ לָכֶם צֹאן לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתֵיכֶם וְשַׁחֲטוּ הַפָּסַח: Draw and take for yourselves sheep for your families and slaughter the Pesach.

Before the exodus from Egypt they slaughtered the Pesach which quells the physicality and Egyptians

Likutay Halachos, Laws of Chudush-New Produce 3:4

12:39 וְלֹא יָכְלוּ לְהִתְמַהְמֵהַּ: And they could not tarry.

First He radiated upon them a great light from above in the aspect of “rutzoa” (running/entering) and afterwards it left and this is the aspect of “shoav” (returning)

And this matter is so with every person always, that first he is illuminated with a great light

In every generation it is so, that the tzadikim extract people from disgusting places, and some of them fall again afterwards even more
