Achieving relationships

HH just met a friend and he told me that he had been seriously dating a girl, and she had just broken it off, and he realised that there were a bunch of teachings of Rabbainu which he knew very well but had failed to inculcate them practically in his day to day life, and with her, and that is why he couldn't hold her. This opened up a tremendous deeper perspective for him, to really internalise everything Rabbainu says, and also he gained a more positive attitude towards all the people out there in lala land far from Rabbainu, because everyone is born into their own circumstances which are very challenging.
