Baruch Hashem. 9th of
Nissan [5]725 (Sunday
– April 11, 1965).
In honor of my bone and flesh, the president
of Israel, Mr. S. Z. Shazar – the singular one in his [third person] generation, [in] that the spirit of wisdom and might
from the Tzaddik, the True Sage, the Warrior and Master of Power [Baal Koach] has passed
over him in order to split the iron wall to ascend to the top of the mountain
with great force and brazenness – to show all the nations and officials the beauty
[and] holiness of the Shabbos which is
light for Jews [Yehudim]. All the Jews are extoling and singing in his praise and crowning
his head with a crown of gold, and they are saying, “Fortunate is his portion,
and fortunate is the mother who has such a son who has placed [lit. handed over] his soul in his
palm [that is, he endangered his life] in
order to magnify and sanctify God in all the words. Blessing, peace, and true
life for the length of days.
Today, I merited to pleasure and rejoice
in the blessing of your fervent heart together with the generosity of your good
and just heart amounting to one-hundred-fifty Israeli Liras from the 6th
day of Nissan, [5]725.
God should repay [for]
your good action, and He should add on you and your household many good and healthy
years – in all the 248 limbs and the 365 tendons; and the candle of your
success shall ascend higher and higher, and you shall merit to bind and attach
yourself in truth, with self [/soul]-sacrifice in the True Tzaddik and His true and upright [kosher] people – which He is our life and
the length of our days for all generations.
You have enlivened my soul exceedingly
in that I see with this, that the good words which gush forth from the gushing
stream are sparking and rooted in the depth of your heart and soul which is extremely,
extremely lofty in its root – which this is the main foundation of our
Jewishness and the foundation for the whole Torah and Mitzvos [Divine Commandments]. Be strong,
now, my brother, [the] cherished
as my very soul and heart; be strong and courageous in the straight faith, and
in strong bitachon [trust /
confidence] that God will never abandon you physically
or spiritually, in the merit of the light of our life, Rabbeinu Na ∙ Nach ∙ Nachma ∙ Nachman MֵayUman z”l [zichrono
l'brocha].
Because of the preoccupations of the
holy Holiday, it is of necessity to end off with a blessing [for a] kosher and happy Holiday.

לכבוד עצמי ובשרי
נשיא ישראל מר ש.ז.שזר, היחיד בדורו אשר צלחה עליו רוח חכמה וגבורה מאת הצדיק החכם
האמת הגיבור ובעל כח גדול להבקיע את חומת הברזל לעלות לראש ההר בתקיפות ועזות
גדול, להראות לכל העמים והשרים את יופי קדושת השבת שהוא אור ליהודים. כל ישראל
מפליגים ומרננים בשבחו ועוטרים לראשו עטרת פז ואומרים אשרי חלקו, ואשרי האם שיש לה
בן כזה אשר נתן נפשו בכפו לגדל ולקדש ה' בכל העולמות. ברכה ושלום וחיים אמיתיים
לאורך ימים.
היום זכיתי
להתענג ולשמוח בברכת ליבך החם, בצרוף נדיבת ליבך הטוב והישר על סך מאה וחמישים
ל"י מיום ו' ניסן תשכ"ה. ישלם ה' פעלך הטוב ויוסיף עליך ועל ביתך שנים
הרבה טובים ובריאים בכל רמ"ח אברים ושס"ה גידים, ונר הצלחתך יעלה לעילא
ולעילא ותזכה לקשר ולדבק עצמך באמת במסירת נפש בהצדיק האמת ואנשיו הכשרים
האמיתיים, שהוא חיינו ואורך ימינו לדור דור.
החיית את נפשי
מאד, שאני רואה בזה שהדיבורים הטובים הנובעים מהנחל נובע מתנוצצים ומושרשים בעומק
ליבך ונשמתך הגבוה מאד מאד בשרשה, אשר זאת היא עיקר יסוד יהדותינו ויסוד כל התורה
והמצוות. חזק נא אחי חביבי נפשי ולבבי, חזק ואמץ באמונה הישרה ובבטחון חזק שלא
יעזבך ה' לעולם בגשמי ורוחני בזכות אור חיינו רבינו נ. נח. נחמ. נחמן מאומן ז"ל.
מחמת טרדות החג
הקדוש ההכרח לסיים, בברכת חג כשר ושמח, אוהבך האמיתי ועבדך הנאמן המפקיר את עצמו
בשביל טובתך וישועתך.
