 Letter 82

 

BH. 20 Shevat, [5]724 (Monday – February 3, 1964).

 

In honor of the president of Israel, my heart and flesh, who has come from an extremely holy and supernal place, and he pumps vapors and airs from the Sea of Wisdom that emanates from the holy and awesome mind of the True Tzaddik – which from [one] end of the world to its [other] end no one has arose like Him – who burns and nullifies the falsehood, nonsense, insanity, and the error of the heresy and false beliefs that are overpowering and thundering to destroy the world, God forbid, God forbid. May God remove from you all sorts of sicknesses and all sorts of afflictions, and may He give you long and healthy life, good life, [of] truthfulness and eternity.

 

Know my brother, that all the suffering and tragedies that God, blessed He, sends upon a person – everything is solely in order to break the brazenness of the body and to arouse him to repentance, so that the soul be able to draw close to the body and enlighten him [with] the light of the Tzaddik who possesses the power to rectify everything in completeness and to draw everyone close to God, blessed He, in truth.

לכבוד נשיא ישראל, ליבי ובשרי, שבא ממקום קדוש ועליון מאד, ושואב אדים ואוירים מים החכמה, היוצא ממוח הקדוש והנורא של הצדיק האמת אשר מסוף העולם ועד סופו לא קם כמוהו, השורף ומבטל השקר וההבל והשטות והטעות של המינות ואמונות כוזביות, המתגברים ורועשים להחריב את העולם, חס ושלום, חס ושלום. יסיר ה' ממך כל מיני חולי וכל מיני מדוה, ויתן לך חיים ארוכים ובריאים, חיים טובים, אמיתיים ונצחיים. 

דע, אחי, כי כל היסורים והצרות ששולח השם יתברך על האדם, חס ושלום, הכל הוא רק בכדי לשבר עזות הגוף ולעוררו בתשובה, בכדי שתוכל הנשמה להתקרב אל הגוף ולהאיר לו אור הצדיק, שיש לו כוח לתקן הכל בשלמות ולקרב הכל להשם יתברך באמת.
