 Letter 100

Baruch Hashem. 12 Kisleiv, [5]726 (Monday – Dec. 6, 1965).

In honor of the president of Israel, my heart and flesh, Mr. S. Z. Shazar – who possesses a big soul hewn from a very lofty place; and it is extremely precious in the eyes of God, and He gave it to search in the treasuries of the Wisdom [of] the highest of the heights, of the utmost level, which the Tzaddik, the Sage revealed in order to return the whole world for the better. Blessing, peace, and long life.

Do not forget to fulfill the great Mitzva [Divine Commandment] to be in happiness always, and to give thanks and to exalt to God over all the loving-kindnesses, miracles, and wonders that He has done with you. In that He has raised you on the wings of eagles and brought you to such a wondrous and awesome truth which the likes of it have never been revealed from the day of world’s creation; and He lifted your horn over the whole nation and chose in you to be president over the Jewish people in such an impoverished generation – through which all the Jewish people are included in you. And they are all dependent on you as a fetus in his mother’s womb, for the body is bound and attached with the head, and is drawn and goes after it everywhere. So therefore, there is a great responsibility [incumbent] on you, and on you there applies a big and holy obligation to have mercy on the Jewish people – to abandon your life and to nullify your honor in the utmost, utmost nullification, and to endure all sorts of humiliations and disgrace for the sake of the good and salvation of the Jewish people – in order to endeavor with all the strength in your hands to make known in the whole world the magnitude, forcefulness, [and] awesomeness of His power, of the Sage, the True Leader who lives and is enduring forever. Who is the one, singular, and unique King over all of the Jewish people for generations forever. And He is the heart of the world in which hangs the lifeforce and sustenance of the whole entire creation. And the whole world wasn’t created except for Him, so that He shall fill the entire world [with] the light of the wisdom and knowledge to know and recognize God, and to serve Him with one portion [i.e., with unity]!

In the future, the Holy One, blessed He, will avenge the avengement of His nation from those false prophets thar are divining portentous events [minacheish] and divinations [kosem], whom are audaciously-faced [lit. make their faces audacious] like dogs against the True Tzaddik, and they fill their stomach with honor, arrogance, and all the evil lusts. And they show themselves as if [they are] Tzaddikim, the leaders of the generation; and they trample and prey upon the precious souls of the Jewish people with a leg of conceit and falsehood until through them, they come to heresies and apostasies; and they blind the eyes of the Jewish people from seeing the light of the True Tzaddik who enlightens and reveals the knowledge of His Divineness, bless He, with a wondrous and awesome revelation.

There are seven sections in hell, and each section has in it seven-thousand holes, and each hole [has] seven-thousand fissures, and each fissure [has] seven-thousand scorpions, and each scorpion [has] seven-thousand vertebrae, and in each vertebra hangs seven-thousand pitchers of poison. And they are all ready for the wicked ones and liars who speak against the Tzaddik with arrogance and contempt, and they mock and degrade His holy books and students!

It is impossible to conceive the faith in the renewal of the world with any intellect or rational logical proof – except by way of the Holy Spirit [Ruach Hakodesh] of the True Tzaddik.

לכבוד נשיא ישראל לבי ובשרי מר ש.ז.שזר שיש לו נשמה גדולה גזורה ממקום גבוה מאד. והיא יקרה מאד בעיני ה' ונתן לה לחפש בגנזי החכמה עילאה דעילאה בתכלית המעלה שגילה הצדיק החכם האמת להחזיר כל העולם למוטב.

אל תשכח לקיים המצוה הגדולה להיות בשמחה תמיד ולהודות ולהלל לה' על כל החסדים ונסים ונפלאות שעשה עמך. אשר נשא אותך על כנפי נשרים והביא אותך לאמת פלא נורא כזה שלא נתגלה כמוהו מיום בריאת העולם. והרים קרנך על כל העם ובחר בך להיות נשיא על ישראל בדור עני כזה שעל ידי זה אתה כלול מכל ישראל. וכולם תלוים בך כעובר במעי אמו, כי הגוף קשור ודבוק עם הראש ונמשך והולך אחריו בכל מקום.
ובכן יש עליך אחריות גדול, וחל עליך חוב גדול וקדוש לרחם על ישראל, להפקיר את חייך ולבטל כבודך בתכלית תכלית הביטול, ולסבול כל מיני בזיונות וחרפות בשביל טובת וישועת ישראל, להשתדל בכל הכח אשר בידך להודיע בכל העולם גודל עוצם נוראות כחו של החכם המנהיג האמת החי וקיים לעד. שהוא מלך אחד יחיד ומיוחד על כל ישראל לדורות עולם. והוא הלב של העולם שבו תלוי חיות וקיום כל הבריאה כולה. וכל העולם לא נברא אלא בשבילו שימלא כל העולם אור החכמה והמדע לדעת ולהכיר את ה' ולעבדו שכם אחד!

עתיד הקדוש ברוך הוא לנקום נקמת עמו מאותם נביאי השקר המנחשים וקוסמים שמחציפים פניהם ככלבים כנגד הצדיק האמת וממלאים בטנם בכבוד וגיאות וכל התאוות רעות. ומראים עצמם כצדיקי ומנהיגי הדור ודורסים וטורפים נפשות ישראל היקרים ברגל גאוה ושקר עד שבאים על ידם לכפירות ואפיקורוסות ומעוורים עיניהם של ישראל מלראות אור הצדיק האמת שמאיר ומגלה ידיעת אלקותו יתברך בהתגלות נפלא ונורא.

שבע מדורים יש בגיהנם, וכל מדור יש בו שבע אלפי חור, וכל חור שבע אלפים סדקים, וכל סדק שבע אלפים עקרבים, וכל עקרב שבע אלפים חוליות, וכל חוליה שבע אלפים כדים של רעל תלויים בה, וכולם מזומנים לרשעים והשקרנים הדוברים על הצדיק בגאוה ובוז ומתלוצצים ומבזים ספריו ותלמידיו הקדושים!

אמונת חידוש העולם אי אפשר להשיג בשום שכל ומופת שכלי של הגיון, כי אם על ידי רוח הקודש של הצדיק האמת.
