Hashem.
In honor
of the President of Israel, my heart and flesh, Mr. S. Z. Shazar – who’s heart
has uplifted him to attach himself in the True King who is alive and enduring,
and [who] shields over the Jewish people for [all the] generations of the world – to elevate them all from the depths
of the abyss; and [who] builds wondrous structures
in order to bring in them all the rejected ones whom are rolling around in the
torrents of malicious waters – cloudy and putrefied waters; and He returns them
to God, blessed He.
May God
renew upon you and your household a good and blessed year with good, long,
healthy, and pleasant life.
The primary
honor and greatness of the kingdom is by way of humility specifically; and
however much more humility the king possesses, [so does] his
kingdom expand more. For so is the way of the kingdom each time – that it is
necessary for him to preempt humility before his honor and greatness. In the
place of your greatness – there I find your humility in order to come and speak
before you that which God will place in my heart.
My heart
has overturned inside of me and become destroyed and ruined until the
foundation, and it has become broken into fragments of fragments to the extent
of immeasurability; and I am groaning and crying with boiling tears without
interruption over the great loss I have lost with the death of my wife the righteous
one, peace unto her. There aren’t words in my mouth to speak in her praise and
to describe the greatness [and] nobility of her holy
soul. I console myself solely with her wondrous righteousness and her beautiful
and good acts which she merited to perform all the days of her life with self [/soul]-sacrifice out of poverty, duress, and many bitter
hardships – which there is no comparison to them in the world; and her whole purpose
and desire was to sanctify the Name of God and the Name of the Tzaddik, as is
known to you a little from this. From the inside of a deep heart, I will bless all
of you [with a] blessing of, “Blessed be he who
arrives”; and in particular to your brother’s son who has merited to tread upon
the Holy Land, in the land of our fathers, the land of our coveting and hope,
the land of our repose and consolation, the place of the faith and wisdom of holiness
– in order to recognize the Creator of the world, blessed He. May he carry
blessing from Hashem[2]; and may He
make him successful in all that he turns to – physically and spiritually – for the
length of good days and years.
God – out of the much-hidden matters [and] secrets [/mysteries] of His ways and
customs that are sealed and concealed from all thoughts and from any search –
has rained on the earth torrential rain and a gush of mighty waters of atheisms
and apostasies in the final end of these days until all the high mountains –
which they are the honorable ones and people of [prominent] name – have become submerged. And out of
His great compassion He preceded a healing and rescuing, and He sent us a man like
His own heart who has found favor in His eyes; and He called His name ‘Nachman’
– “saying: This one will ease [/relieve]
us[3] of
our deeds and of the anguish [toil]
of our hands”[4];
and He commanded Him to build an Ark of the Truth and Faith, in that whoever
wants to be rescued should come, yes come in its chambers and be enclosed [within] its doors and hide in
the shadow of His awesome wisdom. For who can exalt, and who can relate the forcefulness
[and] exaltedness of His
[acts of] strength, in
that He has astonishingly [performed]
with the wonders of His wonders to prepare and summon nourishment and lifeforce
for all the souls of the Jewish people for all generation[s] – so that they should have
pleasure and delight in the splendor, glory, and blissfulness of His awesome
Teachings and Stories which are taken from the Field of Wisdom, the highest of
heights which was never ever yet revealed – which are enduring, faithful, and
of benefit forever.
In[5] the
future, the Holy One, blessed He, will avenge the avengement of His nation from
those false prophets and false Messiahs whom fill their stomachs with honor,
arrogance, and all the bad lusts – and they pose themselves like the Tzaddikim
and leaders of the generation; and they trap precious souls, and they trample
and prey upon them with a leg of conceit and falsehood, and they blind the eyes
of the Jewish people from seeing the light of the Tzaddik, the True Leader of
all the Jewish people who reveals and enlightens the light of the knowledge of
His Divineness, blessed He, for all the world’s comers, for each and every generation.
There are seven sections in hell, and each
section has in it seven-thousand holes, and each hole [has] seven-thousand fissures, and each fissure
[has] seven-thousand
scorpions, and each scorpion [has]
seven-thousand vertebrae, and in each vertebra seven-thousand pitchers of
poison hang. And they are all ready for the wicked ones who speak against the
Tzaddik with arrogance and derision, and they mock and deride His holy books
and students.

ב"ה
לכבוד נשיא ישראל
לבי ובשרי מר ש.ז.שזר אשר נשאו לבו לדבק עצמו בהמלך האמת החי וקים ומגין על ישראל
לדורות עולם להעלות כולם מעמקי תהום, ובונה בנינים נפלאים להכניס בהם כל הנדחים
המתגוללים בתוך שטף מים הזידונים מים עכורים וסרוחים, ומחזירם להשי"ת.
יחדש ה"
עליך ועל ביתך ש"ט ומבורכה בחיים טובים וארוכים בריאים ונעימים
עיקר כבוד וגדולת
המלכות הוא ע"י ענווה דייקא, וכל מה שיש להמלך ענוה ביותר מתפשט מלכותו
ביותר, כי כן דרך המלכות בכל פעם שצריך שיקדים ענווה לכבודו וגדולתו, במקום גדולתך
שם אני מוצא ענותנותך לבוא ולדבר לפניך את אשר ישים ה" בלבי.
נהפך לבי בקרבי
ונחרב ונהרס עד היסוד, ונשבר לשברי שברים עד אין שיעור ואני נאנח ובוכה בדמעות
רותחות בלי הפוגות על האבידה הגדולה שאבדתי עם פטירת אשתי הצדקת ע"ה, אין בפי
מילים לספר בשבחה, ולתאר את גדולת אצילות נשמתה הקדושה, אני מנחם עצמי רק בצדקתה
הנפלאה ומעשיה היפים והטובים אשר זכתה לעשות כל ימי חייה במסירת נפש מתוך עניות
ודחקות ותלאות רבות ומרות שאין דוגמתם בעולם, וכל מגמתה וחפצה היתה לקדש שם
ה" ושם הצדיק כאשר ידוע לך קצת מזה, מקרב לב עמוק אברך את כולכם ברכת ברוך
הבא ובפרט לבן אחיך אשר זכה לדרוך על אדמת קודש בארץ אבותינו ארץ חמדתינו ותקותינו
ארץ מנוחתינו ונחמתינו, מקום האמונה והחכמה דקדושה להכיר את הבורא עולם י"ת.
ישא ברכה מאת ה" ויצליחו בכל אשר יפנה בגשמי ורוחני לאורך ימים ושנים טובים.

מצפוני וסתרי דרכיו והנהגותיו הסתומים ונעלמים מכל רעיון ומכל חקר, המטיר על הארץ
גשם שוטף וזרם מים כבירים של כפירות ואפיקורסית באחרית הימים האלה, עד אשר נתכסו
כל ההרים הגבוהים שהם הנכבדים ואנשי השם, וברוב חמלתו הקדים רפואה והצלה, ושלח לנו
איש כלבבו אשר מצא חן בעיניו ויקרא שמו נחמן לאמור זה ינחמינו ממעשינו ומעצבון
ידינו, וצוה לו לבנות תיבת האמת והאמונה, אשר כל מי שרוצה להנצל בוא יבא בחדריו
ויסגר בדלתותיו, ויחבא בצל חכמתו הנוראה, כי מי יהלל ומי ימלל עוצם נשגבות
גבורותיו אשר הפליא בפלאות נפלאותיו להכין ולהזמין מזון וחיות לכל נפשות ישראל לכל
דור שיתענגו ויתעדנו בהדר תפארת נעימת תורותיו ומעשיותיו הנוראים הנלקחים משדה
החכמה עילאה דעילאה אשר לא נתגלה עדיין מעולם הקיימים ונאמנים ומועילים לעד:
עתיד הקדוש ברוך
הוא לנקום נקמת עמו מאותם נביאי השקר ומשיחי השקר שממלאים בטנם בכבוד וגיאות וכל
התאוות רעות ומראים עצמם כצדיקי ומנהיגי הדור,וצודים נפשות יקרות ודורסים וטורפים
אותם ברגל גאוה ושקר, ומעוורים עיניהם של ישראל מלראות אור הצדיק המנהיג האמת של
כל ישראל שמגלה ומאיר אור ידיעת אלקותו י"ת לכל באי עולם לדור דור:
שבע מדורים יש
בגהינום, וכל מדור יש בו שבע אלפים חור, וכל חור שבע אלפים סדקים, וכל סדק שבע
אלפים עקרבים, וכל עקרב שבע אלפים חליות, וכל חוליא שבע אלפים כדים של רעל תלוים
בה, וכולם מזומנים לרשעים הדוברים על הצדיק האמת בגאוה ובוז, ומתלוצצים ומבזים
ספריו ותלמידיו הקדושים.
