Imagine a big theatre, in order for the projector to cast on the screen you need to hold up a lens in front of it, but instead you stand in front of the beam blocking it. So involved with yourself, you are unaware, but the thousands gathered to watch are very aware.

When you start to gain awareness, it may be measured by the shame of the realization of your blocking the light, and inadequacy of channeling the light.
