204 - The Money That They Give to a Torah Scholar is an Aspect of Torah

The virtue of charity is well-known, especially when given to a Torah scholar – such money supports the Torah. In truth, money given to a Torah scholar is an aspect of Torah itself. No transgression can extinguish this money, just as no transgression extinguishes Torah (Sotah 21a). This money is Torah literally. The initials of "money" align with "And no transgression extinguishes Torah." There is much more on this matter; when he revealed it, he told a story, but we merited to record only these words.
