BH this just happened about an hour ago -- walking back from the Uman market to the holy tomb, there's a path that goes down into a ravine where there's a bridge over a little stream and then the path continues to the road which goes to the holy tomb -- the holy tomb overlooks the whole route --- as I was making my way down the hill I stopped to take a picture of the holy tomb, and I was examining it when a gentile came approached me and BOOM hits me in the face, that was probably when I went down with him lunging on top of me, I started to understand that he wasn't really out to hurt me so as much as steal my smartphone, of course I said Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman and I grappled with him as best as I can --- without glasses I am half blind and I was still trying to register what was happening, I think he also dragged me a bit, probably to find the phone, and I grabbed his leg, but he got away with my phone --- and I think he also stole my Nanach beanies because I couldn't find them. Upon returning to the holy tomb, THEN they told me that recently the gentiles have been ambushing people on this path. Now the guys are making plans that this never happens again B"H.
So B"H he stole my phone - which was a Chinese no-brand I bought for about $330, and it had inside the case 50 shekel, 50 grivna, and $6.
The phone the casing all has Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman branded on it.
B"H as far as my health - I feel pretty good, I don't think I'm going to have any pain from the encounter, and B"H the stains will come out of my clothes. Some people here think otherwise, but Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman!!!
