Schizophrenia can not count for two

Someone asked me today if there are 9 people, and one of them has schizophrenia, may the holy Merciful One save us, can he be counted as two to complete a minyan.
Answer: Even if we would find ample ground to count him as two it wouldn't work, because when we pray it is with full expectation and anticipation that our prayers will be answered, even before we prayed (as it says in the verse...) therefore they would be anticipating for the fellows complete recovery so it would be impossible to count him as two. (This can be held true even despite the ruling of geetoa vi-yudoa bu-im ki-echad).
