WHEN YOU FIND YOURSELF UNDER ATTACK

Rabbeinu says in Torah 8 that it is forbidden to provoke the wicked (which can also be understood as one's own Evil Inclination) because their strength is short-lived but very powerful, like a storm wind.

So what can we do when this storm wind suddenly threatens us, from the outside and especially from the inside? As always, I found a solution in the gematrias.

The phrase "רוח סערה" ("a storm wind") has the same numerical value as the famous passuk (Tehillim 118, 8): "טוב לחסות ביהוה" ("It's good to take refuge in Hashem"). What's more, the words "אמת ואמונה" ("truth and faith") also have the same gematria.

So here is a complete prescription: when the evil storm wind tries to blow us away, we have to sit tight, take shelter in Hashem, and believe that it will pass. After all, we have a guarantee from Rabbeinu that, sooner or later, it will pass.
