Letter 144[1]

 

Baruch Hashem.

 

In honor of the President of Israel, the delight of my heart, Mr. S. Z. Shazar – who longs and yearns with all [his] heart after the awesome Beggar, the possessor of broad shoulders, who carries us from all the places which we have fallen therein to the aspect of ‘above space’. Blessing, life, and peace.

 

The True Tzaddik, the great one of towering and far-off stature / of extremely, extremely lofty stature, at the utmost level of which there is no lever thereafter – He can descend Himself very, very much in order to raise even the estranged ones of the utmost estrangement, who are placed in the lowliness of the bottommost level – until they have descended to the aspect of actual death. And this is the essential completeness of His lofty level – for, it is impossible to ascend higher, higher, except if one can descend lower, lower in order to elevate and gather also all the most / completely rejected and alienated ones, and to bound them as well to God, blessed He, in completeness.

 

And know that the whole essential redemption / the whole essential redemption of our souls and the redemption of the collective [/encompassment of the] souls of the Jewish people is contingent solely and only in this that the light of the True Tzaddik shall become revealed and shine in all the land; and to raise the banner of the Tzaddik in the world until it will become known to the entire world that with the drawing close to the True Tzaddik – all the wondrous lights which are destined to shine by way of our Righteous Messiah, shine.

לכבוד נשיא ישראל מחמד לבי מר ש.ז.שזר המשתוקק ומתגעגע בכל לב אחר הבעטליר הנורא בעל כתפים רחבים הנושא אותנו מכל המקומות שנפלנו בהם לבחינת למעלה מן המקום.     ברכה וחיים ושלום.

הצדיק האמת הגדול במעלה עליונה ומופלגת, וגבוה מאד מאד בתכלית המעלה שאין מעלה אחריו יכול להוריד את עצמו מאד מאד להגביה אפילו הרחוקים בתכלית הריחוק המונחים בשפל המדריגה התחתונה ביותר עד שירדו לבחינת מיתה ממש, וזהו עיקר שלימות מעלתו הגבוה, כי אי אפשר לעלות למעלה למעלה כי אם כשיכולים לירד למטה למטה להעלות ולקבץ גם כל הנדחים והרחוקים לגמרי ביותר ולקשר גם אותם להשית בשלימות.

ודע כי כל עיקר הגאולה כל עיקר גאולת נפשינו וגאולת כלליות כלל נפשות ישראל תלוי(ה) אך ורק בזה שיתגלה ויזרח אור הצדיק האמת בכל הארץ, ולהרים את דגל הצדיק בעולם עד שיתודע לכל העולם שבההתקרבות אל הצדיק האמת באמת מאירים כל האורות הנפלאות אשר עומדים להאיר ע"י משיח צדקינו.
