Baruch Hashem. The eve of the holy Shabbos [of] ‘Console, console My Nation’, [5]729 (July 25, 1969).

In honor of the President of Israel who is desired and very important in the eyes of God and in the eyes of all the Jewish people, Mr. Z. Shazar – who has entwined himself with all his heart in the True Tzaddik, God’s Messiah who consoles and rejoices everyone and turns all the descents into ascents with the wondrousness of His awesome wisdom. [May you merit the] long life, good life of the awesome Beggars.

Behold, the whole world knows that the Land of Israel – the chosen [land] from all lands – was given by God to the Jewish Nation, the chosen [nation] from all the nations; and initially, the Land of Israel was in our hands and jurisdiction. And now, even the nations whom pose themselves as lovers and friends are thinking in our bad, taunting and laughing at us in contempt; they grind their teeth with things which don’t contain neither taste or scent, and they say to us, “You are robbers in that you have conquered the Land and the holy city of Jerusalem from the hands of Hussein and Nasser” – may their names be blotted out – whom want to annihilate us. God should annihilate them for all eternity, and He should rain upon them fire until He destroys them, and their remembrance should be cut off from the earth: And they shall recognize and know that the Word of God will forever endure: In the Land of Israel, one merits to exit from the natural order and to know that everything is solely through Providence. And by way of this, one is saved from all the woes: The Air of the Land of Israel makes wise – for there one hears all the sayings of the Tzaddik, the True Sage, which by way of His words the person becomes wise with true wisdom to return to God and to know and recognize He who said and the world came into being, which this is the primary wisdom.

הנה כל העולם יודעים כי ארץ ישראל הנבחר מכל הארצות ניתנה מאת ה" לעם ישראל הנבחר מכל העמים, ובתחילה היה ארץ ישראל בידינו ורשותינו, ועכשיו אפילו האומות שמראים עצמם כאוהבים וידידים, חושבים רעתינו, מקנטרים ומשחקים עלינו, שננו לשונם בדברים שאין בהם לא טעם ולא ריח, ואומרים לנו גזלנים אתם שכבשתם את הארץ ואת עיר הקודש ירושלם מידי חוסיין ונאצר ימ"ש הרוצים להשמידינו, ישמידם ה" עדי עד וימטר עליהם אש עד כלותם ויכרת מן הארץ זכרם: ויכירו וידעו כי דבר ה" לעולם תעמוד

בארץ ישראל זוכין לצאת מטבעיות, ולידע ולהאמין שהכל בהשגחה לבד, ועי"ז ניצולין מכל הצרות: אוירא דארץ ישראל מחכים, כי שם שומעים את כל הדיבורים של הצדיק החכם האמת שע"י דבריו נתחכם האדם בחכמה אמתיית לשוב אל ה" ולדעת ולהכיר את מי שאמר והיה העולם שזה עיקר החכמה
