Likutay Moharan II, Torah 53: The Great Preciousness of Thought
The great preciousness of machshavah [thought] has become known to me now, for machshavah is very, very precious, that complete things are made from it, actually, that have existence all the days that the worlds exist, as long as Hashem, blessed be He, and so forth, and so forth. And chochmah [wisdom] is more precious, for machshavah is what rises to His thought alone, and chochmah is what builds with his wisdom buildings with his intellect, and it is very precious. And the main matter is that it be in truth. And even a simple meaning that they innovate is also a very great matter, and it also needs to be in truth. And also the opposite, when it is not in truth, things are made from it also to the contrary.
