Likutay Moharan II, Torah 54: Free Choice Is in the Hand of a Person to Do as He Wishes

Bechirah [free choice] is in the hand of a person to do as he wishes. And even all things, everything is in the hand of the Israelite person to conduct everything as he wishes, as his bechirah. For in the hand of Israel, there is bechirah in their hand over every single thing in the world. For with others, there are things in which they are compelled, but with an Israelite person, every single thing that he does, such as to travel to some place and the like, has service in it, and therefore he has bechirah over everything.
