Blossoms of the Spring - Letter 77: Hold onto the Kibbutz of the True Shepherd forever…

 Letter 77 

BH. Monday [13 Elul, 5723 – September 2, 1963], Parashat Tavoih [=you will come] for Rosh Hashana to the place which God has chosen for his supernatural people [Am segulasoi].

 

In honor of the president of Israel, the apple of my eye, and my heart, Mr. S. Z. Shazar – who has invested all his mind and heart in the Sea of Wisdom of the True Tzaddik, who consoles, strengthens, arouses, and awakens us with “The voice of God cleaves [with] flames of fire [thereby hewing out the Ten Commandments on the Tablets]” (Psalms 29:7); and He reveals and enlightens in us the light of Daas [realization of knowledge or perspicacity] to know that God is still with us, by us, and extremely close to us – wherever he is. A good and blessed year with good life, [that which is] true and eternal – for you and your household.

 

My heart, my precious one, have pity and compassion on your precious soul and on the myriads, myriads of immeasurable worlds that are dependent on your soul, and don’t pay heed to any of the dissuasions [lit. pushes = rejections, rebuffs] that are in the world – which want to separate you from the holy Kibbutz [gathering] on Rosh Hashana. Just strengthen your hands with the help of God, and stand on your feet with all the valor, and throw away all your honor and soul completely, and grasp yourself with all your might in the Kibbutz of the True Tzaddik all the days of your life – for your entire life depends in this, and through this you will not falter [to fall] forever.

 

The main wondrous rectification which one merits to on Rosh Hashana is through this that he joins the Kibbutz of the Tzaddik who is the primary True Shepherd, which in Him are included all the True Shepherds whom were throughout all the generations; who engages now more [than ever] to gather the Jewish people, as a shepherd [does to] his flock. And He is a true merciful one, who gathers in all the ones who were pushed away, and all the lost ones – which they are the thoroughly evil ones who are extremely, extremely estranged from God, blessed He – to return them to the holiness; and He shines in  the heart of each and every person – wherever he is – how to return from all the bad places that they want to push him there; and He instills in them the fulfilment of the Torah all the days of their life – throughout all which will pass over them, which this is the main compassion on the Jewish people. In the near future, a time will come that the light of the True Tzaddik will become revealed and shine also in all the non-Jews and nations, and they will all assemble and gather to the Tzaddik in order to hear the word of God; and then all will be cognizant of God, and they will all call out with the Name of God.

 

One who wants to draw close the most evil and estranged ones to God, blessed He – on him there are extremely great, immeasurable dangers; and for this one needs many stratagems – beyond measure – until he will merit that his action produces effects in completeness.

 

His faithful servant who is devoted with all heart and soul, who stands in prayer and supplications on behalf of his wellbeing and salvation – constantly, at all times:

ב"ה יום ב' פ' תבוא על ר"ה אל המקום אשר בחר ה' לעם סגולתו

לכבוד נשיא ישראל, בת עיני וליבי, מר ש.ז.שזר, שהשקיע כל מוחו ליבו בים החכמה של הצדיק האמת, המנחם והמחזק ומעורר ומקיץ אותנו בקול ה' חוצב להבות אש, ומגלה ומאיר לנו אור הדעת, לידע כי עדיין ה' עימנו ואצלנו וקרוב לנו מאד, בכל מקום שהוא. שנה טובה ומבורכה בחיים טובים, אמיתיים ונצחיים, לך ולביתך.

ליבי, יקירי, חוס וחמול על נפשך היקרה ועל רבבות רבבות עולמות בלי שיעור התלויים בנפשך. ואל תשמע לשום דחיות שבעולם, שרוצים להפרידך מהקיבוץ הקדוש בראש השנה, רק תחזק ידך ב"ה ותעמוד על רגליך בכל עוז ותשליך כל כבודך וכל נפשך לגמרי, ותאחז עצמך בכל כוחך בהקיבוץ של הצדיק האמת כל ימי חייך, כי כל חייך תלוי בזה, ועל ידי זה לא תימוט לעולם.

עיקר התיקון הנפלא שזוכין בראש השנה הוא על ידי שמצטרפין אל הקיבוץ של הצדיק, שהוא עיקר הרועה האמיתי, שבו כלולים כל הרועים האמיתיים שהיו בכל הדורות, שעוסק עכשיו ביותר לקבץ את ישראל כרועה עדרו, והוא רחמן אמיתי, שמקבץ כל הנדחים והאבודים, שהם הרשעים גמורים הרחוקים מאד מאד מהשם יתברך, להשיבם אל הקדושה, ומאיר בלב כל אחד ואחד בכל מקום שהוא איך לשוב מכל המקומות רעים שרוצים לדחותו לשם, ומכניס בהם קיום התורה כל ימי חייהם בכל מה שיעבור עליהם, שזהו עיקר הרחמנות על ישראל. בעתיד הקרוב יבוא עת, שיתגלה ויאיר אור הצדיק האמת גם בכל הגויים והעמים, ויקהלו ויתקבצו כולם אל הצדיק לשמוע דבר ה', ואז כולם ידעו את ה' ויקראו כולם בשם ה'.

מי שרוצה לקרב רשעים ומרוחקים ביותר להשם יתברך, יש עליו סכנות גדולות מאד בלי שיעור, וצריך לזה כמה תחבולות בלי שיעור עד שיזכה לפעול פעולתו בשלמות.
