Letter 44
BH, 21 Teiveis [5]721 (Monday,
January 9th, 1961), Tel-Aviv.
My heart, my precious one, the pleasant Mr. Z. Shazar – who’s heart
is hot within him, and it blazes like the heart of a fire to ignite and shine the
illumination of the True Tzaddik into the scientific world. Fortunate is he, and
fortunate is his portion – that he merited to this. Peace and all the best
forever.
Amidst happiness of the heart and soul I received his blessing –
which is more precious to me than any fortunes – together with the present of
his pleasant heart amounting to fifty Israeli Liras. Also, the telegram with
his heartful blessing arrived some minutes before the Chuppah (Jewish marriage ceremony), and all those
assembled read it, and they delighted and rejoiced over his love and true
attachment to the Tzaddik and His people so much.
I greatly acknowledge him from within the depths of the heart for
the satisfaction and the happiness which I had from this. In truth, I know in my
soul, that in and of myself, I certainly am not worthy of this great honor. But
this is my solace: That all of my intention in our enterprise is for the sake of
heaven, and my whole desire and goal is solely in the matters of the holy and
awesome Tzaddik – that I want and yearn to serve Him, and to fulfill His will
to disseminate His springs outwards. Gaze and see God’s salvation and wonders [that are] to no end – that we would merit now
in such an era, to behold with our eyes the awe-inspiring, the light of the
Tzaddik that shines and reveals the light of His blessed Godliness in all the
worlds – in those who dwell on high and those whom dwell down low etc. And as
God, blessed He, has started to display His loving-kindness and goodness with
the Jewish people as a whole and with us, so may He now complete for our sake –
to enlighten in our hearts the truthfulness of the truth. And may His promise be
fulfilled speedily, that which He promised in many sorts of expressions: “Ich
hob ois g’feert, uhn vell ois fearen!” [“I have
finished, and I will finish!”]. “Mayn fahyeril
vet shoin tliyen biz…” [“My fire will already
burn until…”]. May God bring him success in all
that he turns to, and may He upraise his dominion [lit. horn] with honor – to go in His holy ways.
With honor and wishes of wellbeing, with love – and our love is
fierce – to him and his house, and to all those who accompany him whom heed his
call.

ז.שזר הנעים, אשר חם ליבו בקרבו, ובוער כלבת אש, להדליק ולהאיר הארת הצדיק האמת
בעולם המדע אשרי לו ואשרי חלקו שזכה לזה. שלום וכל טוב לאורך ימים.
בשמחת לב ונפש
קיבלתי את ברכתו היקרה לי מכל הון, בצרוף מתנת ליבו הנעים על סך חמישים לירות
ישראליות. גם המברק בברכתו הלבבי הגיע איזה רגעים לפני החופה. וכל הקהל קראו אותו
ונהנו ושמחו על אהבתו והתקשרותו האמיתי אל הצדיק ואנשיו כל כך.
אני מודה לו מאד
מקרב לב עמוק על הנחת רוח והשמחה שהיה לי מזה. באמת אני יודע בנפשי שמצד עצמי
בוודאי איני כדאי להכבוד הגדול הזה. אבל זאת נחמתי, שכל כוונתי בעסקנו הוא לשם
שמים וכל חפצי ומגמתי הוא רק בעסקי הצדיק הקדוש והנורא שאני חפץ ומשתוקק לשרתו
ולעשות רצונו להפיץ מעיינותיו חוצה. הבט וראה את ישועת ה' ונפלאותיו עד אין קץ
שנזכה עתה בעת כזאת. לראות בעינינו נוראות אור הצדיק המאיר ומגלה אור אלקותו יתברך
בכל העולמות בדרי מעלה ודרי מטה וכו'. וכאשר החל השם יתברך להראות חסדו וטובו עם
כלל ישראל ועימנו, כן יגמור נא בעדנו להאיר בלבנו אמיתת האמת ויקוים במהרה הבטחתו
שהבטיח, בכמה מיני לשונות, איך האב אויס גיפירט און וועל אויס פירן! {גמרתי ואגמור
כרצונו בוודאי}. מיין פייערל וועט שוין טלוען ביז וכו' {האש שלי כבר תוקד עד
וכו'}. ה' יצליחו בכל אשר יפנה וירים קרנו בכבוד לילך בדרכיו הקדושים.

שלום באהבה ורחימתן עזיזא לו ולביתו ולכל הנלווים אליו הסרים למשמעתו.
