B.H. 24 Elul 718 (Tuesday, 9 September, 1958)
In honor of the very honorable madam S. Kahanuh
Shalom, and life, and everything good.
Hereby, I confirm with abundant thanks, receiving the letter dated
19 Elul 718 (Thursday, 4 September, 1958) with the attached check to the amount
of 100 Israeli Liras 100 Li. Similarly, I received in its time the letter dated
27 Av 718 (Wednesday, 13 August, 1958) and I convey great thanks and blessing
for this. And blessings for a good year happily replete will all types of
salvation.
From the depth of my heart I am extending wishes of Shalom to my
beloved Mr. Z. Shazar the pleasant. Thousands of thanks and proclamations of
commendation[1]
on his good work. May his reward be full from Hashem that he be inscribed and
sealed in the books of the true tzadikim for good life, long life, and Shalom,
and all true good.
My eyes look expectantly to see him very soon with joyous heart,
with vitality, and Shalom, wishes of wellbeing to his honorable family and to
all those affiliated with him.

הריני מאשר ברוב תודה קבלת המכתב מיום י"ט אלול תשי"ח בצירוף צ'ק על סך מאה ל"י 100 ל"י. כמו כן קיבלתי במועדו המכתב מיום כ"ז אב תשי"ח ואביע תודה וברכה רבה על זה. וברכת שנה טובה ומאושרה בכל מיני ישועות.
מקרב לב עמוק הנני פורס בשלום אהובי מר ז.שזר הנעים. אלפי תודות ותשואות חן על פעלו הטוב. יהי משכורתו שלמה מאת ה' שיכתב ויחתם בספרן של צדיקים אמיתיים לחיים טובים ארוכים ולשלום וכל טוב אמיתי.
עיני מצפות לראותו מהרה בשמחת לב בחיים ושלום, דרישת שלום למשפחתו הכבודה ולכל הנלוים אליו.
