Modesty Police?

 HH

The Talmud is Sanhedrin 109b relates that although Oan ben Peles was originally together with Korach (Korach - Numbers 16:1), his wife saved him from continuing on that evil path. She got him drunk and lay him down inside, and she sat outside at the entrance to their house and let her hair out, anyone who came by, saw her hair out and retreated, she kept this up until they were swallowed up....

It is interesting to note that there were no modesty police or attacks or graffiti (-they didn't have Nanach back then), just everyone stayed away.

Righteous Women Do Not Give In To Relent to Absolute Purge of Chumetz Saving Israel's Government

 HH

For those of you that don't follow Israeli politics, here's an extremely brief synopsis of what you need to know to understand this post.

A little less than two years ago, when tens of thousands of Jews around the world began planning their pilgrimage to Rabbainu Na Nach Nachma Nachman MayUman for his Rosh Hashana, upon which the entire world is contingent, Bibi Netanyahu's government did a huge nefarious medieval anti-Semitic deed, they sent a letter to Zelensky's government in the Ukraine pleading with him not to allow the pilgrimages entry because they spread plagues (-the cov. has like a 99% recovery rate). Zelensky, the self hating jew that he is, feared he would lose all the money and power being afforded to the promoters of the plandemic, was happy to oblige to Bibi's request, this way he would look less of a coward.

So everyone in Israel involved in that atrocity lost their positions. Bibi who had been prime minister for over a decade, suddenly lost to a nobody with only around 5 seats. Zelensky proceeded to agitate and incite Russia to invade and destroy a large percent of the Ukraine, and even though the leftist media is still trying to make him out as a hero, the evidence of his ill intentions and bad decisions which prove his guilt is growing too strong for anyone to ignore, and he will go down in history as one of the worst things that happened to the Ukraine, and as someone who brought death and destruction on a huge level.

So Bibi was deposed, but his replacement was horrid. Besides being incompetent themselves, in order to get the 61 seats they needed to gain the majority of the Knesset, they had to join with the left and the arbs. They too embraced the fraudulent plandemic with all its evil mandates, and closed Israel to Jews and perpetrated horrible atrocities, which ultimately led to a huge uprising of terrorism which claimed many precious lives. They gave land away to arbs, gave them tens of millions of dollars, and electricity, and many many more evil things, some of them very hard to believe.

One of the 61 seats of their coalition was an orthodox woman, who was willing to go along with all this madness, until recently when the leftists on the government promoted and pushed for the allowance of Chumetz in the hospitals on Pesach - Passover. That she was not willing to allow, she resigned, leaving the coalition without the majority they needed to be in power.

Na NaCh is acronym for the three main mitzvos that women are charged with:

Nida

Ner - kindle the Shabbos lights

Challah - taken from the bread.

However we know that the righteous women of Israel are exemplary, zealous, relentless, pertinacious, in their cleaning for Passover. Many balk at this, but now we see the extreme value of this diligence. Here we see how a woman who could allow for the craziest evils and atrocities to be perpetrated in her government, to come around to her senses, and put her foot down, because she simply can not tolerate having chumetz brought into Jewish houses.

Thus we will point out another acronym that woman have with the holy awesome name of NaNaCh.

acronym.

Nashim - women

Nikuhyon - cleaning

Chumetz - leavened food forbidden on Passover.

Women need to be NaNaCh!

HH a few years ago a friend of mine, "Rabeye" David Cooper of Toronto had a kind of revelation while he was in spiritual seclusion opposite Niagra Falls. Until then he had always went along with the lubavitch campaign to get women to light Shabbos candles, but all of the sudden it hit him, that the holy Mishna stresses that there are THREE major mitzvos that women are crowned with:
1. Ner Shabbos - the lights of Shabbos
2. Nida - the laws of family purity
3. Challa - taking off a piece of the bread they bake

The acronym of these three mitzvos is: NaNaCh!

Women need to be NaNaCh!!!!!

The Praises of Rabbi Nachman 17-19

HH
Shivchay Huran
17-19
17. He also said, that the conjugation of the true tzadik is a very difficult matter for him; and not only does he not have any desire whatsoever, just on the contrary, he has suffering from this, mamash (-literally) like the suffering of an infant during circumcision, because mamash suffering such as this the tzadik has during conjugation, and more than this, because the infant doesn't have intellect, therefore his suffering is not so great, but the tzadik who does have intellect, his suffering is greater then the infant, and this was an obvious matter by him. And he said, that every person can merit to come to this level, and it was apparent from his words that his own holiness was yet very extremely higher.
18. And he said, that by him a man and a woman are equal, that is, that no facet of thought occurs to him when he sees a woman, just everything is the same by him in his eyes, as if he sees a man. And one time he said, that he has no fear, not from a woman and not from an angel. And with this there's a lot to explain, because someone who still has any facet of fear whatsoever from thoughts of women, even if he is chaste in this regard, just that he's not immaculate in the utmost purity, and he still has some fear at all with this, he needs to fear from an angel; but he (Rabbainu) boasted that he has absolutely no fear of this, therefore he has no fear of an angel. This is slightly alluded to in the words of our Rabbis of blessed memory (Kedushin 81a): "I am flesh, and you are fire - but I am better/stronger than you," which Rav Amram Chasiduh said to the angel, and it is brought down in his words of blessed memory in the Torah-teaching "Tikoo (blast the shofar) - memshalu (dominion)" Torah 1 in the second volume of Likutay Moharan, see there well, and understand.
19. He was also very accustomed in his early childhood and in his youth to run over all the time to be by the grave of the Baal Shem Tov za.tza.viku.l. to request of him that he help him draw close to Hashem Yisburach. And he used to go there at night, and in the winter when it was extremely cold he would go there at night and from there he returned and went to the mikvah. And there was a mikva outside the bathhouse and one mikvah inside the bath house, and he chose the mikvah that was outside the bathhouse, when the cold was great and he was already very cold from being by the aforementioned grave, because there was a great distance between his house and the cemetery and also from the cemetery to the mikva, besides for the lengthy stay that he spent by the grave, even still after all this he would specifically go to immerse in the mikvah which stood outside, in order to mortify himself - and all of this secretly at night. And I heard from someone who said that he heard from his holy mouth, that when he performed these practices he was just six years old.
And he was so secretive from people in his devotions, to the extent that one time he went to the mikvah in the morning in the winter, and he came from the immersion, and his pehyos (sidelocks) were wet from the water, and everyone wondered at the oddity that in the winter a person would wash his head, because it did not occur to them that he had been in the mikvah, they just thought that he washed his head, and they wondered at his peculiarity that he washed his head in such cold, and they held it to be an act of his immaturity, because he was very, very secretive in his devotion. Also all the very many fasts that he fasted, absolutely no one in the world knew about them, even his father and his mother and his relatives, just his wife alone knew of it, and he would swear her that she should not reveal it to anyone, and he would do many (many) ruses to hide and to conceal all the fasting that he fasted, in such a way that no one would know of them.

Elul - Man and His Beloved

ELUL
Elul is acronym Ani Lidoadee – I am for my beloved, Vidoadee Lee – and my beloved is for me, and we found countless times where the relationship between HY and the Jews is likened to that of a Man and his Beloved.
Previously on this blog I already wrote how this makes it more natural for a woman to connect with HY, then for a man, see there. Here I would like to build on this.
A woman has 4 very strong emotions regarding her man, these her body and whole being scream out, even if she doesn't actually let them escape her lips. These are not simple pronunciations, but repeated and continuous, incessant, flowing and gushing, and pleading. Much of this unfortunately is reduced to vulgar and coarse language, simply because the way of holiness has been despaired[1]. Obviously it will be more powerful if one actually expresses himself out loud to HY, but there is also the factor of streaming the thoughts intensely as described above.

1.       NEED. Even before any contact is made, and throughout any union, there is the overall urgent and or definite NEED.
2.       GRATITUDE. [YES!]
3.       The need to really experience him completely: GIVE IT TO ME….
{particularly on the inhale}
4.       Surrender. I AM YOURS.
{particularly on the exhale}
One should offer these up to HY, every second, for every second in this world one's very being and essence, his composition, consciousness, and breath is all from HY, and one can max out on this, pouring out, even only in thought – in his mind, thanks and gratitude, and plead to receive more, and to fully surrender and be His.[2]

The wise will understand that this is just the groundwork, the beginning, every detail enhances, intensifies, and fortifies the aggregate effect. One must be nak*d – completely bare and open before G-d, completely vulnerable, and then of course there is the factor of humiliation, and so much more.

Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman!

[1] There is a story of the Baal Shem Tov who saw that there was great prosecution against Israel because there was a priest who had never experienced a nocturnal emission. So the Baal Shem Tov visited him and caused it to happen, the Baal Shem Tov spoke in holiness cloaking his words in worldly expressions, which were enough to bring the priest over the edge just by hearing them. And as the power of holiness is infinitely greater, who can imagine what the Baal Shem Tov experienced!
[2] These four can parallel the 4 preceding steps of the building of the Malchus in the first blessing of Shemoneh Esray (very succinctly): Melech (Kessehr) – need. Oazair (chaba"d) – gratitude for being there for you. Oomoasheyu (chaga"t) – getting everything. Oomugain (nihe"y) – completely dominated.
Also the three particular expressions can correlate to the three main paradigms of the Yichudim the Ramchal revealed. 1. Gratitude – zivug of the middle – azteelus, where we are just recipients. 2. Give it to me – the second level of Yichudim where azteelus is the soul and the tzadikim are the body – definite players. 3. Utter consummation – the highest and final Yichud of the beginning and the end, where the end shows that there is just the beginning, there is only HY.

Ramchal's holy books for the Women's Section

HH as Divine Providence had it, BH a friend donated another set of the Ramchal's holy books for his holy tomb, and I decided to allocate them for the women's section, in need of a pen to inscribe the books with the information that they were specifically the property of the Women's Section of the holy tomb of the Ramchal, and inscribe the holy name of the Rebbe, the Song of Redemption: Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman - so someone there offered me a pen - it was a multi-colored ink pen - special for the women! We are definitely in tune B"H! So I did my best to give them a few colors....

Yom Kippur is primarily for women

HH according to the Arizal and Ramchal Yom Kippur is completely dedicated to the feminine Sfira of Malchus, and therefore should really only pertain to women, however since men are also completely dependent on the Malchus, they too are included in the theme of Yom Kippur.

If ever there were to be a proper time, it seems to me that Yom Kippur night would be a proper time for women to put on a talis without a blessing.

Women Chasidim - נשות חסידות

HH

Be careful what you call yourselves, remember that the "chasida" is a not kosher chick!

Reminds me of the late rosh yeshiva of toronto, r. ginzberg, who frequently said, that if a group of men studying Torah was called a kollel, a group of women would be called a "klalla" G"F, he wasn't exactly Nanach - because then he would have known to call it a "kollelet" which, with the 5 letters, has the numerical value of Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman!

Aside from the quotation I bring later in Hebrew that Rabbainu said to make the women into chasidos, it is interesting to note, that when Rabbainu told his chasidim that he didn't no what he could yet do to help them, so he will try telling them stories, and began to reveal the Stories of Ancient Times, these stories, the highest legacy of Rabbainu, he specifically said were for women too!

ב"ה

Letter of the Ramchal -- book report

HH

About 15 years ago this book was called something else (Ramchal and his Generation - I think), less organized and presentable, and not available, In order to read it you had to borrow it from someone, and that's what I did (a guy in Lakewood, he died a few years ago). Today B"H the Machon (institution of) Ramchal (located in Har Nof, Jerusalem) publishes "Igros Ramchal" - Letters of Ramchal, and it is very presentable and readily available (although I don't think they are willing yet to make it free on Hebrewbooks, unlike the predecessor of the publication of the Ramchal, Yosef Spinner, who amazingly, may HY bless him, gave all this material for free download!).

Yesterday I finished rereading this amazing book, which is on the top of the most must read books. This book is a source of strength and encouragement to help one through the tribulations of life. Here are some of my thoughts that I quickly jotted down, to ease the rage and to leave some memory of the torrents of passion which coursed through me from this reading.

HH

True genius often has a facade of simplicity. The most complex equations are often just a few characters. Once I saw a little girl swing across monkey bars with such liquid agility that made it look like it was a simple exercise anyone can do with ease. The Ramchal's writings have such a genius and clarity. The Ramchal himself showed how huge problems and contradictions fall away and are clarified with the few precise words that he set down.

Rabbainu Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman reveals in Likutay Moharan that the sicker a person is the greater the doctor he needs, and so too in comprehension and cognizant consciousness, the lower and more murky one's wit, the greater the tzadik he needs to reach true realization of G-d reality. Here to the Ramchal's writings shine out, for even though some of the greatest scholars of his time felt, erroneously, that some of his writings were just drawn from previous works, they failed to grasp the utter genius and power of presentation, which can very well be gauged by the far lower aptitude needed to get a strong comprehension of the matters presented by the Ramchal as opposed to reading the early writings.

A nice analogy to this is the awesome impact of the book "Shumati" - I heard (originally one small volume, which I read, and reread as a very thick volume, and is now 4 very large ones which I have only seen from a distance), this book is very powerful, but it seems that this is only so for some people who are more comfortable with the writings, who find it to be almost worthy of Breslov. Yet your average Jew, who survives from day to day principally on Breslov, does not appreciate Shumati whatsoever.

In hind sight it is certainly a clear travesty that most of the leading Rabbis didn't have enough sense to appreciate these and other points. Even Rabbis that somewhat defended the Ramchal, seem oblivious to the awesome magnitude of genius not to mention Divine Revelation that was at stake.

In the letters exchanged regarding the banning of the Ramchal's writings, a good percentage start with a full paragraph of adulation for the recipient, sometimes much much more, and rabbis excuse themselves due to their great communal responsibilities that keep them tied up, and how busy they are teaching their students. So they are quick to look for anything that passuls (makes no good and forbidden) the Ramchal, and close him off. Even when they see that the leading prosecution against the Ramchal from the city of Vinitzia is fraught with corruption: they present false witnesses and testimony – even presenting it 5 years later, their rabbis are known power mongers and known to be incompetent, and they openly disparage luminaries of the generation. None of this was sufficient for the arbitrating Rabbi's to put even a halt in their mission to scrap the Ramchal. Even more amazing the lies and animosity of these rabbis were readily believed and accepted by other Rabbis throughout Europe. Even R' Yaakov Emden, readily added his name to the trumped up witch hunt crusade.

Almost every great Rabbi that truly wanted HY, and went personally to the Ramchal to see for themselves maybe there was a chance that they could learn the secrets of HY, were rewarded. The Ramchal's father-in-law – R' Dovid Pintchi - the Rabbi of Manitoba, and the Pachad Yizchok, and R' Avi-ad Sar Shalom, all very top Torah scholars went to see the Ramchal, and merited to learn from his. They testified to the veracity of his teachings and his righteousness (even here it is strange that they didn't go to greater means to defend the Ramchal from the hatred and vitriol against him).

In the letters another strong point is brought out, that against the book Shaagas Aryeh which blasphemes against the sanctity and veracity of the Zohar and Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai, the Rabbis did very little and barely came out against it.

The Ramchal himself writes that it appears to him that there are no true tzaddikim in his generation.

Also the Ramchal says (Letter 99) that he was sent for by a high (French) noblewoman in Geneva, with great supplication, to authenticate the Kabbala. The Ramchal attests that this lady truthfully was proficient in all the writings of the Arizal, to the extent that he was amazed to hear her.

It is interesting that in the last letter we have from the Ramchal to his students he concludes by warning them not to be lazy and not to succumb to the travail of the times, but to remember that this world is just an antechamber before the palace.

Women Contested

HH

The Netziv's (Founder and Rosh Yeshiva of the Volozhin, the first modern Yeshiva) wife was very learned and extremely proficient in Tanach (written Torah). Once she heard a simple uneducated man saying the blessing “that He did not make me a woman” with extreme fervor. She was aghast. What was this man so excited about, she herself knew more than this man knew. She confronted her husband who pacified her by saying that every male makes the blessing in relation to the females that correlate to him. The question is whether this is a true answer or just a placation. For the simple meaning of this prayer is that the male has the full 613 commandments and is the main player in the Supernal image.

In the Yeshiva world the story is told that a Yeshiva Bochur took out a BJJ (Beis Yakov of Yerushalayim) girl out on a date – to the lobby of a hotel (terrible custom of the litvaks), upon seeing the boozing of some of the clientele the boy exclaimed, B”H that He didn't make me a gentile. The girl spoke up and said, that Rebetzin Davis (the infamous head mistress of BJJ) had taught them, that when they make the daily morning blessing, “that He has not made me a gentile”, they should not think of a fall out or an ordinary gentile, but even the president, for it is such a blessing to be Jew. So the Yeshiva boy replied, that when he makes his daily morning blessing, “that He has not made me a woman”, he doesn't simply refer to any woman, but even Rebetzin Davis.
So the question is whether this goes against the above placation the Netziv gave his wife, or maybe Rebetzin Davis really isn't on par even with a Yeshiva Bochur.
All of this should be taken with good humor, I mean no respect to any gentile or woman, certainly not those that are better than I....

According to the Kabbala in the future the woman's status is higher than the man's, the woman will be the true “Woman of Valor” of which the verse (Proverbs) says, “A woman of valor is the crown of her husband”, the crown being higher. The Ramchal explains this quite beautifully but it is difficult for me to bring his words here. If this is the case how can it be that the woman has less commandments, which are seeming indications of higher responsibility?

Today it occurred to me that maybe this is an aspect of what the Ramchal revealed that originally Adam had only one commandment, and when he didn't keep it, there where additional commandments – the 7 mitzvos of the Ben Noach, and when Noach took drugs and all in all did not bring the desired rectification to the world, Hashem indoctrinated the requirement of the 613 mitzvos. Rabbi Nachman also points out that it was only due to transgressions that there was a proliferation of instructions (See Tractate Nedarim 22b, The Life Of Rabbi Nachman item #202 - His trip to Israel item #18).

From here it is possible to say, that in the end of time when all the sins and shortcomings of man will be rectified, the woman's fewer obligations will no longer be a sign of less responsibility, but a sign of superior connection to HY.

Keep in mind that Rabbi Nachman revealed that prayer – which is the aspect of the female – is much more important than learning Torah – the aspect of the male. Rabbi Nachman was ushering in the future time.

Yoke of Heaven -- way to freedom

HH

The Zohar reveals that the Yoke of Heaven actually serves to make things easier. A bird is free to fly if it can get off the ground. An engine can propel an object with great speed to its destination, but if the object is not directed, then it will just spin out of control. Fear of Heaven is the first gate to literally set one's soul flying in the spiritual worlds, one has to know how to harness himself properly in its yoke, and then can take off.

After writing this B"H I was blessed with further insight.

Fear of Heaven <Yiras Shumayim/Hashem> is the aspect of the woman, as the verse says 'eesha yiras Hashem', the woman's position is below the man, as 'malchus' is the final sfirah and mate to all the 9 sfirot. Malchus is 'ani' - I. When a person fears Hashem, there is a definite sense of identity, this person is fearing Hashem. This is firm rooting in the ground (also aspect of the female).
Keter - crown, the highest sfira, which is the emanator, is 'ain' <complete abnegation>. The crown is also the ultimate aspect of the woman of valor, as the verse says, "a woman of valor is the crown of her husband".
It is known (Zohar and other holy books, also see the letter of the Ramban) that through fear of Heaven, which is considered the aspect of the heel, one can come to humility, the aspect of the crown.

By embedding oneself in the malchus, which would seemingly ground him, on the contrary he completes his identity, and can abnegate himself even to Keter - the crown, divesting himself completely of all ego or credit, projecting only the malchus of the ein sof.

The power of women

HH

The Zohar and other holy books make it very clear how damaging the Nidda (menstruating woman) is. The Ramban in his commentary on the Torah says that this was common knowledge in days of yore, that even looking at the reflection of a nidda is damaging.

So take a look at the woman herself, she undergoes a few days a month of utter subjection to the afflictions of nidda, and pulls through to purity. Quite phenomenal if you think about it!

Spiritual Orga*m

HH

The holy Torah reveals that a person binding his (/her) soul to the One Merciful G-d can have many different experiences. G-d presents Himself in the world in both a feminine and masculine attitude. The feminine presence, is the Divine Presence known as the Shechina which "rests" in the world -- the Glory of G-d, the Jewish People of Israel as a whole are a reflection of the Shechina. The masculine presence, the husband of the Shechina, is the hand and spirit of G-d emanating and projecting from Above. The Tzadik incorporates and plays the role as a chariot and vehicle for the masculine, and directly fertilizes the Shechina, cultivating her and providing her with her every need. Those who have attained such a status will not be needing to read my whimsy words.

Although the Shechina is a feminine presence, that is only with regard to the Spiritual worlds above, but with regard to the worlds underneath it, the Shechina plays a very masculine role providing and taking care of the universe as we know it. Therefore when a person binds himself to the Divine, if he is deserving he will experience the presence of the Shechina, the Shechina will be projecting to him, which means that the person will be on the receiving end, just as a female receives from a male. If the person manages not only to bind himself, but to actually achieve an encounter of complete relationship to the satisfaction of a complete devotion, there will be a spiritual orga*m. For males this will take more time and devotion to master, because men in their physical role are designed to experience the spontaneous gratification which culminates with very tangible expression, which is not going to be forthcoming spiritually. It will take them much time to even realize they have achieved a strong relationship. Whereas women, physically do not so much aim for and definitely do not depend on a dramatic clima*, but rather grow and develop their feelings with intensity, warming and getting hotter, all the while basking in the pleasure of what is being done to/with/for them. Therefore women have an outright advantage in achieving meaningful union with the Divine. They are more at home and natural to this relationship. This could be working reasoning to what our Sages revealed that Sarah's prophecy was superior to her husband's - Abraham (of course this is only with respect to the Shechina, whereas Abraham's main role would be as the tzadik, which attends to the Shechina). When a man to feel tears spurting from his eyes he will not naturally associate that with orga*m, but a woman will revel and delight even as if reacting from physical stimulation.

May the Glory of G-d be revealed to the whole world, may we merit to bask in His Presence!

Rashi deals a heavy blow to women's lib!!!

HH
In this weeks Parsha -- Divorim, Rashi -- who's daughters are renown for their maintaining their right to don Tefilin --- deals a heavy blow to the whole charade of women's lib:

דברים א:יג
הבו לכם אנשים חכמים ונבנים וידעים לשבטיכם ואשימם בראשיכם
פרש רש"י ז"ל אנשים -- וכי תעלה על דעתך נשים?! מה תלמוד לומר אנשים, צדיקים עכ"ל.

Rashi says it would be unfathomable to suggest that Moshe Rabbainu would recruit women to be leaders of Israel!

This I write objectively -- I merely point this out -- please feel free to figure out some way out ...

Tefilin

HH although the Talmud relates that the donkey of Rabbi Pinchas ben Yair was on a higher standing than the amoraim (sages of the Talmud subsequent to the sages of the mishna) it did not put on tefilin. Not sure about this but I think it was a male donkey.
