בספר חיי מוהר"ן אות שלב - אמר אני נהר המטהר מכל הכתמים, עכ"ל.

לכאורה יש שני דרכים לפרש את זה, א' שרבינו הקדוש עובד ופועל לטהר את עם ישראל על ידי כל מיני תיקונים שהוא עושה. ואכן יש לפרש שהכוונה כמו טהרה במקוה ממש. וע' בערך הרמח"ל שכתב לשון מעין זה על המקוה. ויש להעיר שמצינו שבבית המקדש הים של שלמה היה עומד על י"ב פרות כנגד י"ב שבטי ישראל, הרי שיש דרך טהרה דרך שורש נשמות ישראל.

והנה זה שרבינו מטהר מכל הכתמים, כל, זה הכמות, וגם באיכות, שמטהר לגמרי בשורשו, וגם במהירות, כמו התיקון הכללי שיסד, שתוך כמה דקות ספורות עבר הכתם. ואכן רבינו נולד בשנת תקל"ב, ושנתיים אחר כך גילו חומר הנקיון החזקה של קלור chlorine bleach, כי עד אז היה להם איזה סוג חומר שלקח חדשים של עיבוד, ושנתיים אחר לידת רבינו כבר היה להם חומר חזק כזה שמיד מנקה נקיון חזק.

(והנה עוד חומר גילו – hydrogen peroxide, בשנת תקפ"ח, והתחילו לנקות איתו עד שנת תרמ"ב, אבל לא יצא לשימוש עולמי עד שנות תר"צ-. והנה סבא ישראל היה מפליג במספר שנות חייו, כי לכאורה לידתו היה בשנת תרנ"ז ונפטר בשנת תשנ"ה, שזה שנתיים פחות ממאה שנים, אך נשמע מסבא ישראל כמה פעמים הפלגות, והשם יודע כוונתו, ואכן נוכל להבין מזה שחייו שייכים לשנים הקדומים, וקבלת הפתק היתה בשנת תרפ"ב, והוא עוד גילוי יותר חזק ויותר מהר לנקיון).

Clean out the vulgar language

It used to be in former good times, society did not accept the open use of foul language, and children would be disciplined by having their mouth washed out with soap. Our Sages o.b.m. warned of the terrible tragedy improper speech brings to the world, including the deaths of the youth may the Merciful One save us.
Today unfortunately even people who should be role models, the upper echelons of society like congressman and what used to be respectable sources of news and media, use vulgar language openly and virulently.
Recently in particular the entire media was rampant with vulgar language. And perhaps that is why they are now sharing the terrible news of the latest fad amongst children to swallow detergent, almost as if they are trying to atonement for the atrocities of foul language.

Clean Clothing

About 20 years ago I had a friend, a little more spoiled than the rest of us, the type of guy who could take a few shours a day, designer clothing, the whole thing. He told me something very profound. He can handle taking a good shower and then putting on dirty clothing, but what is the most uncomfortable thing possible is putting on fresh clean pressed clothing when he is dirty. Deep deep.

So if you ever wonder what your doing here in this world, bouncing through so much tormoil, so many challenges, the grief and the suffering; keep this in mind, if you don't clean yourself up, how will you be able to wear the pristine Divine garments awaiting you?!
