When it is impossible to go to Uman

After King Shlomo the nation of Israel was split between his son and Yiruvum ben Nivut. Yiruvam could have been Messiah but he turned it down because he would have been second place to King Dovid, and he wanted to be first. Yiruvam feared he would lose his constituents if they would make the pilgrimage to the Temple in Jerusalem, so he set up border patrols to prevent anyone from attempting to pilgrimage. To compensate he set up two idols and made a special festival for them in the month of Cheshvon - corresponding to the holiday of Succos celebrated the month before in Tishray. 

Saba Yisroel passed away on the 18th of Cheshvon which in Yeruvam's holiday is the corresponding day to the 18th day of Tishray, the fourth day of Succos - the day Rabbainu passed away. Rabbainu was a direct descendant of Dovid. This would point to Saba being a tikun for Yeruvam. If this assertion is correct, it would shed a great deal of light on all those who claim to follow Saba and refuse to go to Uman  and proclaim Saba to be messiah (even though Saba himself mocked chabad saying explicitly that after their rabbi was dead it was ridiculous, also there is a recording of Saba saying explicitly messiah has yet to come) - they are stuck in the sin of Yiruvam. 

The Sages said that Hoshaya ben Ailu, the last king of the 10 tribes, abolished the border patrol, and this caused the final decree of exile, because even though the people were no longer prevented from making the pilgrimage, they still did not, and that brought upon them the final decree of exile.

Based on that, i have various thoughts and insights regarding the recent closure of Uman, which made it just about impossible for me and for many others to make it to Uman for two years. See Chayay Moharan 354 the great tragedy of those who know Rabbainu and don't fulfill his guidance. Which means that the merit of going to Uman brings with it the huge responsibility of better fulfilling Rabbainu's directives, like getting up for midnight and attempting to spend the most of day doing hisbodidus.

Where will Rabbi Nachman be for this coming Rosh Hashana?

The Ukraine is now threatening to close their borders to the Jewish pilgrims seeking to visit the holy tomb of Rabbi Nachman of Breslov in Uman, better known as Na Nach Nachma Nachman MayUman. (They have also issued many black visas barring people from returning). 

Two years ago, at the request of Bibi Netanyahu, a medieval antisemetic libel was pitched against the pilgrimage, claiming that they would spread a virus, a disease with a 99% recovery rate which anyways ravaged the whole world, masked or no mask, va. or not, science oriented or denier, whoever was meant to get it, got it, and who ever was meant to succumb RL did so. But they just couldn't have a few thousand Jews visit the remote location of Uman lest the whole facade of plandemic be exposed. Shortly thereafter Bibi lost his mammoth, over a decade long rule over Israel - to a nobody, and Russia initiated a campaign to demilitarize Ukraine and rid them of their Nazi battalions. Zelensky  (probably forced by the nazis there), who married out of the faith, traitor to Judaism and traitor to the Jews, and traitor to Israel (-the Ukraine always votes against Israel in the UN), is fully responsible for the utter destruction of the Ukraine. Don't let the media fool you for a second, the Ukraine is in ruins, and it has been brought down to its knees, besides the Donbass and all the areas captured by Russia, and many of the nazis have been killed or captured. Even some of the famous politicians who tried to gain prestige off of the calamity that is zelensky are also being exposed and brought down - today Borris Johnson of England was forced to resign, and BH Nancy Pelosi and the Bidens will follow shortly. Now everything has come full circle, the claim isn't that the pilgrims will harm the country, rather the opposite, the Ukraine can not offer them safety. 

In the meantime, Rabbi Nachman has been doing what he has done since he was 27 years old - sending everyone to Israel. Unfortunately only a few thousands Jews had the good sense to take the wake up call, at the same time as many gentiles jumped at the opportunity. 

Who knows what will happen now. The hope is that in the desperation, the Ukraine will allow us to bring the holy tomb of Rabbi Nachman, as well as his great grandfather, the Bal Shem Tov, and other great tzadikim, to the Holy Land. Recently the news reported that zelensky asked Israel for a loan of $500 million. Saba said that the State of Israel would give the Ukraine a lot of money to have them release and hand over the holy tomb of Na Nach Nachma Nachman MayUman, hopefully the time has come.

Yesterday there was a big fright in Uman when some 30 gentile thugs amassed in the street near the holy tomb of Rabbainu and threatened the local Jews, and even lashed out at a few of them physically, may our brothers have a speedy painless recovery. As painful and as outrageous as this was, I ask you what is worse, a few hours of taunting and a little bruising R"L, or the atrocities which the rabbis have allowed to continue in Uman for thirty years. The rabbis are building up their little empires, whether it be the hotels they are building, or their congregations, but not only do they prevent the people from bringing the holy tomb to its rightful place in Jerusalem, they do nothing to help the people get to Uman. There is an airport in the city of Uman which was built very strong, and it remains closed and sealed for use to the millions -thousands and hundreds of thousands of pilgrims every year since the fall of the iron curtain. It is mind boggling that these so called leaders have done nothing for over thirty years to get this airport open, running, and available. It is very hard to even contemplate and measure the amount of pain and hardship the many hours and the extra burden of travelling to a far away city, Kiev or Odessa, and having to set out from there for a long arduous car ride. For many elderly and sick and so forth such a trip is simply too much. Maybe if the rabbis would finally address this atrocity, the locals would finally realize that the Jews are a great benefit to them.

Uman - Ooman vs Oomin

As you might know for many years I've been delving into the depth of Na Nach Nachma Nachman MayUman and I have merited to author a very large treatise on this new holy song, but just yesterday I was mind struck with a very simple knew understanding of the word Uman.

In the holy Petek the words of the New Song: Na Nach Nachma Nachman, have vowels, but the word MayUman does not. Thus there is allowance to pronounce it as one may. In modern times people are comfortable pronouncing #Uman - #Ooman, but from what I gather, most of the old timers, especially the Yiddish speaking ones, pronounce it: #Oomin. Innocuous.So all these years I explored all types of meanings the word Uman has or can infer; faith, craftsmanship etc., and of course as it can be used as an acronym (eg Ner Mitzva Vitorah Ohr), and its numerical value (gimatria) etc.. But just yesterday I was mind struck with an astonishing and simple new meaning to the word Uman - when it is pronounced #Umin - this is the Aramaic word for the Hebrew word: Oomim and Goyim - i.e. Nations! This [as I'm sure you've already understood and are mind-boggled] immediately opens the gates and venues to hosts of new ways of understanding the import of Na Nach Nachma Nachman MayUmin!

Take for eg the verse
כח מעשיו הגיד לעמו לתת להם נחלת גוים
This we can now interpret as: the inheritance of Umin (-Rabbainu) gives them the power - KOACH - of His works...

At the azkara (remembrance) last night, some guy named Baruch told over a few stories about N”S.
Once there were a group of guys in Uman by Rabbainu and it was erev Pesach midday and they didn’t have anything for Pesach and they weren’t at all prepared either. The atmosphere was very depressing, until N”S walked in and promised them that they would have 100 kilo of meat, x amount of chickens, x kilos of Matzo etc., new clothing from head to foot etc.. This guy Baruch asserts that before sunset all had been fulfilled, he was there.
Baruch says that in that time period in Uman they often had very little food and N”S would always reassure them that all would be well.
Baruch also told over, I couldn’t hear so well but this is the upshot, that N”S promised him that he would get married that year, Baruch went through some difficult times, N”S came to him in a dream and told him because Baruch had believed him he would in fact get married that year, and so it happened . [it could be that N”S came to him in a dream after the engagement, and told him…].
Nachman Shabsai would frequently tell people, תחשוב טוב יהיה טוב – think good and it will be good.
Someone at my table told me a very typical and common story that happened with him. He was in Meron as his custom to go for 21 days every year for Lag BuOmer. N”S asked him if he could take him to the Maayan (spring) of Shmaya ViAvtalyon, this guy replied that he didn’t have a car, N”S told him don’t worry there will be a car, and just then someone pulled up and asked them if they wanted a ride to the Maayan.

It is brought down (don't remember exactly where) that there were a group of chasidim that were trying to make it on foot to Uman in a time of extreme danger and they had to go at night very surreptitiously etc., but they refused to forgo any nuance whatsoever of Judaism, they insisted on immersing in the mikva every day and not missing out on the reading of the Torah or anything, which meant that they often had to backtrack to a previous place. But I'm not sure if they made it.

A few days ago I spoke to a teenage girl in Uman, and she told me that it felt like she was in Disneyland - because of all the restaurants, souvenir shops, visitors, the whole hubbub, and the "elevated" spirit she experienced there by Rabbainu.

In Likutay Nanach I explain that just like there is fallen fear (yeeruh nifooluh) – when the fear of G-d is fallen GF and cloaks itself in articles and constructs of this world like animals or villians, and there is fallen love (ahava or chesed nifooluh) – when the love of Hashem is fallen GF and cloaks itself in mundane and even repulsive hosts which become alluring, attractive, and desirous, so too there is fallen delight – which is the aspect of yesod-foundation- the aspect of the tzadik, when the exquisite delight and pleasure rooted in Hashem is fallen GF thus opening up the breeding ground for the trillion dollar industry of entertainment. BH in recent years we are seeing how Rabbainu is re-erecting the yesod-foundation, and repossessing his industry. By the holy tzion I observed how people would hold up a coin, insert it into the slot of a charity box, and begin swaying back and forth while reciting the ten psalms of Tikun Haklali, and then when they finished, they would repeat the process – what an upgrade from arcade games! On the streets the Nanach vans are infusing joy and hope, and inspiring the world with stickers, graffiti and all types of creative expression. In Likutay Halachos, Rabbi Nussun writes at great length how it is the job of the tzadik to bring joy to the world and even to be royal jesters to G-d Almighty (as the Zohar says of King David, and Rabbainu said that the Bal Shem Tov once said a vortel that brought amusement even to the Divine paradigm).

May we merit to be a part of this holy joy.

Basically the secret is that every letter has an "oafen" (wheel), the last letter of it's spelling: in the letter Alef, the oafen is the "f" (peh). The oafen of the Peh, is Alef, thus the letter Alef will always take you to Alef.

If you go through all 22 letters of the Alef Bet you will find that there are only 4 destinations they will take you to: UMAN! All roads lead to Rabbainu!

Now the holy hitchikers (a new discovery for my HH) which in Hebrew this is called "TRaMP", the Tes, will take you to Vuv, the Resh will take you to Nun, the Mem will take you to Mem, and the Peh will take you to Alef: Alef, Vuv, Mem, Nun: UMAN!!!!!

Recently people are circulating that Donald Trump has the gematria (numerical value) as Mashiach Ben Duvid (Messiah Son of David). This is kind of problematic - if we give any consideration to this, because the nature of gematrias is that often a same value is an indication of the antithesis of the word at hand - just as the Book of Creation enumerates that Oneg (exquisite pleasure) is the same letters - and hence numerical value - as Negga (-a wound), and being that obviously Donald Trump is not Messiah, his name bearing the same numerical value would indicate that he is the antithesis... Maybe his name should be spelled differently in Hebrew,  maybe with a guttural eyen - ע - that would work well for many reasons...

The Russian language is the most impure, they don't even have a full and proper Hey and Yud (from what I'm told, but I understand there might be something). Russia in the Holy Tongue means an evil person and the most common Russian words all have terrible meanings in the Holy Tongue, e.g. 'davoy' in Hebrew is the opposite of Hod, and it means mournful. 'charasha' means deaf. 'Kiev' means pain. Not to mention all the names, places, and words which are so long and complicated it is extremely difficult for a westerner to even pronounce them. And in the heart of this appears a simple and ultra positive meaningful city 'Uman' which means faith or the Creator, amongst other things. And the name of the street by the holy tomb of Na Nach Nachma Nachman Me'Uman is called Pushkina which means here is the Divine Presence!

Fortunate is the believer in the holy petek, and regardless of one's beliefs this is absolutely phenomenal above and beyond comprehension.

Rosh Hashana by Rabbi Nachman - for those who couldn't make it to Uman and for those in Uman

HY gave Rabbainu a gift of Rosh Hashana, the grand coronation of HY on Rosh Hashana over the entire universe takes place in Uman, so it is critical and of utmost importance to be by Rabbainu for Rosh Hashana. Those who for whatever reason couldn't make it should not throw in the towel and give up completely GF, despair doesn't exist definitely not since the advent of Na Nach Nachma Nachman Me'Uman. There is still attainable a back door quasi attendance and participation. Our Sages revealed that when one reads aloud the Torah of a holy tzaddik the tzaddik's lips - in the grave - move in unison with him, and it is like they are kissing {see Likutay Moharan Torah 12}. Furthermore, Rabbainu revealed {Lkm 56} that since the holy Torah is really Divine Names of HY, when one reads the Torah aloud he is calling HY, and certainly HY will come to him. So wherever one might be on Rosh Hashana, even if he is in Uman, he should make a point to read and learn aloud the holy Torah of Rabbainu, and particularly to sing the holy song of redemption which Rabbainu revealed to be in actuality, his name, in this form: Na Nach Nachma Nachman Me'Uman. In this way a person will have established a definite connection and bonding with Rabbainu.
