E - the fifth letter of the Alphabet, has 5 words that I pray to invoke to merit on the holy Shabbos (5 is a tribute to 7 in the secret of Hod Malchus).

ecstasy

euphoria (the strongest I think)


On a more mundane daily level, there are also: energy and exuberance, and possibly even entertainment, maybe.

Machine Angels

Technology of today has machines attending to many of our needs, and in the near future it looks like that machines will be able to tend to every little thing we want by a simple motion.

The Talmud (Sanhedrin 59b) says that Adam reclined in Paradise, and the ministering angels roasted meat for him, and distilled wine for him.

The truth is that every physical particle in the world is really just energy (even Einstein started to figure that out), and energy is ultimately spiritual forces, namely angels.

Angels in place of machines is a concept found in Sanhedrin 105b where the Talmud discusses what exactly HY put in Bilaams mouth, Rabbi Eliezer says, an angel, whereas Rabbi Yonason says a metal hook. Especially in Kabala and Chasidus conflicts like this are shown to really be in agreement, just each side highlighting a different facet.  Thus this excerpt is really bringing out the point of this article.

So all the machines and technology at work for us, is bringing us back full circle to how it was for Adam in Paradise. The big difference being, Adam saw the reality, that he was being attended to by forces directly empowered by HY, whereas we suffer the delusion that some physical entity is arbitrarily at our command.

Indeed, self-driving cars, are strongly reminiscent of the holy wagon of the Baal Shem Tov, who would retire the coachman and put the wagon on automatic pilot - kefitzas haderech. This suggests that we are entering a paradigm of existence of such magnitude, that even the average person should readily be experiencing G-d on such a high divine level of consciousness. May we merit to fully live this new life...

The big avoda of chilling out

Rabbi Nachman said that it is easy for him to fire up and reach out to HY -- "ratzo", his effort is expended in the "shoav" -- coming down, and bringing into play all the newly achieved G-dliness.

It used to be that winter was the main time of need for energy, today the summer is much more exerting. The world is conforming and warming up to Rabbainu, it's finding it easier to get fired up, and harder to chill out.

We gotto really tune in to the Rebbe and follow his every nuance.
