Seventy nations at war in the bathroom

 HH Rabbainu revealed that every person includes in himself all the 70 nations, and because many of them are at war with each other, therefore a person doesn't have inner peace, and when he is alone and all these forces are at work undiluted, it could cause him to go mad R"L. That is why before one prays and attempts to bring world peace, peace being the Name of HY a holiness that most nations aren't preparing themselves for, first one must merit to inner peace, and from that root point of strength he can proceed to pray for the peace to prevail in the world.                                                                                                              

So there was a rabbi who decided to address the war issue when he was doing his business in the bathroom. From outside they heard and smelled all types of exclamations: Take that Ukraine, up ... russia, that will silence you, and so forth and so on, for quite some time. Then there was a flush, and water started to seep out of the bathroom. Someone shouted at the rabbi, hey what's going on? The rabbi replied, the war has spilled over....

In the book of Nehemiah we are told that when they rebuilt the walls of Jerusalem they did not change their clothing at night. Rabbi Moshe Dovid Valli explains that the clothing are ohr makifim encompassing sheilds and therefore at times of danger, like at war, one should not forgo their protection even momentarily to change into other clothing. He proceeds to ask if that is the case, why do we ever change it night into pajamas and leave ourselves vulnerable? He answers that it is similar to the concept of mayim achronim (water at the end of the meal to clean the hands) which gives residual sustenance to the realm of evil thereby pacifying it with a tiny tribute.

Amazing Targum Yonasun on this weeks haftora Parshas Aikev, end of Isaiah 50. He says that the prophet says that in the end of times HY will ask the nations whom among them was G-d fearing and listened to the prophets and trusted in G-d and His salvation? To which the nations will answer we had no time to study the Torah because we were to busy waging war on each other, and when one side won they burned down the houses, took the children captive, and pillaged the other... - and their entire days were consumed just in this, so it was impossible for them to learn the Torah.

When HY took the Jews out of Egypt, He could have brought them directly into the Holy Land which neighbors Egypt, directly North - on top of Egypt. Instead He led them on a very circuitous route.

The Torah talks about this and explains, that there was a concern that if the Jews would directly confront and battle the Plishtim who resided in southern Israel, they would retreat to Egypt. That is what is understood from the verse, however a literal reading of the verse gives a different reason, which because it is not readily understood, it is disregarded and explained as above. The verse says that HY did not take them by way of Plishtim BECAUSE it is close - i.e. the verse is not saying that the proximity is a reason for it to have been chosen, but on the contrary, the proximity is the reason that it was rejected as the entry route.

So how is the close proximity the reason to forgo it?!

Every nation has a unique characteristic, the Nations surrounding the Holy Land have very strongly overt evil ones. Whether it is promiscuity, idolatry, lust of food, etc.. These are all very dangerous, but they are also BH far and distant from the Jewish consciousness. The Plishtim however represent a morbid dominance of the empirical even as it is construed by the imagination and deviations of fantasy and conjecture. In Likutay Nanach chapter 370 I bring many cases where we find that the submission of the Plishtim, and escaping their rule, was always brought about only through great mocking and wild antics and shenanigans, and this was the only way to escape the clutches of the dominion of powerful delusions of reality that the Plishtim had.

Today this klipa has taken hold of most of the western wall who are not just enthralled with the sciences and cinema, they are completely enslaved to this venue.

This is the klipa that is so close to us, it is so hard to see past what our physical eyes seem to be seeing - as we are told and led to believe by the scientists and the cinema. The world has such empathy and compassion for this worthy cause of keeping life to the confines of the depressed sentiments of their sensual desires.

Even as the soldiers fight valiantly against the Plishtim, they sing of Samson who took revenge on having been blinded by the Plishtim, and these soldiers lunge forward even more blinded. Samson was blinded by the desire of his eyes, as our Sages revealed that this was his undoing, he went after his eyes, thus falling straight into the hands of the Plishtim. Today all the excited right activists, whether they are fighting in arms or in the media, as they fight outwardly, on the inside, they have already lost and capitulated to the Palestinians. It is almost comical, if it wouldn't be so sad and pathetic.

There's a great more to be said, but if only you would properly contemplate this...

So much talk about peace, but if people don't have peace within themselves how can they have peace with others? In every person all the 70 nations are warring, and only through the holy ways of Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman can their war cries be quenched and silenced.

When G-d goes to war he goes alone, in contradistinction to Kings of flesh and blood who need to bring entire armies, and when G-d goes to bring peace, He brings out the troops, in contradistinction to Kings of flesh and blood.... (Rashi, Bamidbar - Numbers 12:5).

G-d's unity is utter peace, thus G-d's unity in itself is the conquering power of all wars, and in the war to end all wars and bring Peace, and then G-d comes out with the troops.

This is the way of Rabbainu Nachman of Breslov - Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman, who has taken upon himself to conquer the world for the Holy One Merciful G-d, and how has he set out -- with one minute little note -- the holy Petek! Who would endeavor such a formidable task and goal and arm himself with a small piece of paper that could be shredded or burned instantly?! Rabbainu - Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman learned this from the Lord G-d Almighty Himself!!!!

With one little Petek Rabbainu turns over the entire universe to the ultimate Good!

In the holy book Tomer Devora, the holy Rama"k explains the Divine Attributes of the Crown (Keter) as they are distinguished in the beard (yes -- it is very worthwhile to cultivate a healthy beard!) --- the first attribute he explains is how G-d gives people their life and energy even as they use it to sin against him -- the full text is quoted above.

So for whatever reason Israel has chosen to act this way -- giving the enemy life and energy even as the enemy uses it against them -- even if this decision is completely erroneous and due to the evils of politicians or whatnot, the fact of the matter is that Israel is conducting according the highest of the Divine Attributes, and for this the Jews will undoubtedly merit to over abundance of light and inspiration of Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman!

Remember there is no Rebbe other than Rabbainu!!!!
