In the last 20 pages of Outpouring of the Soul - which is a synopsis of Likutay Halachos on Rosh Chodesh, Rabbi Nussun explains different verses of the Prophets which predict how several women will accost one man asking him to marry them. Rabbi Nussun sees this as power to the women; that the women are proposing to the man, and that multiple women can mate with one man. Very interesting take on the issue, which I'll leave you to contemplate...
