כמה וכמה חדשים שני פתקאות ותמונה של סבא ישראל השקיפו מעל הציון  הקדוש של רבינו נ נח נחמ נחמן מאומן. והיה לאות ולמופת, רק פעם אחת הורידו אותם בתקופת פסח, ושוב העלנו אותם והיו שם לימים רבים. (בתמונה רואים שלוש בפתקים, אכן אחר פסח שמנו את האמצעי להראות צידה השני -- סבא ישראל):

 והנה אתמול באו שני בריונים אחד אומר (מתפאר כאילו... השם ירחם) שהוא השמש של ארוש ר"ל, ואחד כמוהו, ועשו איומים על הננחים ואין כאן מקום להאריך, אבל בקיצור הטומאה הצליחו ושוב הורידו את הפתקאות וסבא מעל הציון של רבינו נחמן מברסלב, ולא היה זמן מרובה, עד שבאו שני פצועים ושמו קופסאות גסות שלהם על הציון --- שלפחות עליהם כתוב נ נח נחמ נחמן מאומן!

Ner Tamid burns out on the tenth of Av

Sometime last night – on the tenth of Av – the time remembered every year as the time that the holy temple – Beis Hamikdash – burned down. The new Ner Tamid (little continuous flame) above the doors to the holy tzion burned out. This new Ner Tamid was inaugurated a few weeks ago – it was filled to the top with olive oil, and burned continuously till the tenth of Av (yesterday I gave notice to one of the people who initiated the ner tamid, but he shrugged it off saying it was still good for another day, and as is the way of Rabbainu, I did not harp on him, even though I had a feeling that this is what would happen, it would extinguish at such an inauspicious

time).

Jammer by the holy tomb!!!

B"H maybe you saw today in the news that the U.S. fined a Chinese company tens of millions of dollars for selling jammers to Americans -- jammers are illegal in the U.S. but apparently they are not illegal in the Ukraine! The late manager of the holy tomb Nussun Elchadad bought and hooked up this jammer by the holy tzion to prevent people from violating the serenity and sanctity of the holy grave with telephone calls and internet. The problem with his plan is that if the jammer would be put into action, it probably wouldn't last very long.... So here you see the jammer in the little office of Peretz the gabbai in back of the tzion.
