Moshe Rabbainu

HH tonight-tomorrow 7th of Adar - birthday and hillula of Moshe Rabbainu.

ממשה ועד רבינו לא היה כמו רבינו

The Talmud in tractate Sota, which was censored and restored on the side of the page by the Ba"ch, says that the reason why the location of the burial site of Moshe is hidden is because if the Jews would know where it is, everyone would go there to pray to HY and HY would be forced to bring the redemption even before the proper time.

In Breslov tradition we learn that this opportunity is now available visa the holy tomb of Rabbainu NNNNM.

The rebbe of radzin who discovered the Tichailes merited to be by the holy tomb of Rabbainu in Uman, and he remarked that the reason why the leading rabbis weren't . making the pilgrimage to Rabbainu's tomb, (or following Rabbainu at all for that matter), is because it has the property of the tomb of Moshe, those below (humble) believe it is on high (- it raises them) and those on high (haughty) is shows them to be below.... (This is actually explicitly in Likutay Moharan volume 2 Torah-teaching 7, but it's nice hearing it from an outsider...)
