Hamas before and after

HH usually when we think of the word hamas we think of treachery, extortion and theft as in the Hebrew word חמס. However consider the word חמת - after Yishmael tried to kill Yitzchok, HY told Avrohom to banish him, and so he did - Genesis 21:14 sending him off with a hamas - canteen of water, and water was depleted from the hamas, & Hagar threw him down. He was going to die but HY heard his prayer because he still hadn't devolved into the evil entity he would. That time has long transpired....
